2. Daytrading on Fiat pairs, accumulate Tether. Don't Fomo, spend time reading chart but trade sparingly, and only strike in right moment, get out quick with any gains, even < 1% is okay.

Bought Euro at year long high, if I wait long enough I'll break even, but it was a stupid decision.

Should have bought in more at the dip. In fact could probably buy more tomorrow and wait for my original buy in to break even

What I've done is hold through it and now I'm almost exactly where I was before.

I was up to 10BTC 6 weeks ago peaking with ANS pump, after that it went downhill for me and now I'm at 4.5 BTC because I didn't take gains from ANS and I always invested all of my assets.
I changed that and I will only use 5BTC to invest and create value. Anything above 5BTC will be put away in either US-$-Tether, BTC or ETH as long term storage or to compensate for loss in the investment assets. Not removing yourself from the game completely is very important.
