So do I just buy a coin when it's low (use sigt for example) wait till another pump and sell when I think it's hit the height of the pump? Then buy back in when it dips? Just getting into this.

It's the other way around actually. You buy a coin when it's high, wait until it's low enough and then you sell. That's how the big boys make the big profits.
