Let's say someone wants to buy something "not so legal".
He has 1 route -
1) Get a Bitcoin wallet somewhere.
2) Buy Bitcoins on exchange
3) Download TOR or anything similair
4) Transfer Bitcoin manually, carefully checking the address.
5) Wait for all the confirmations.
OR
1) Download Brave browser
2) Click BUY tokens.
3) Open site and click "Contribute"
Which one do you think is going to be recommended? Which one is easier? How hard it is to make 1 site for "contributions" and other for "stuff"?

This is the brilliance of BAT. On paper it is not even a real currency but a simple token for calculation of time, attention etc.
However, in fact, due to conversion on exchanges it can be easily used as the opposite without being obstructed by these new laws. As you know, for example Amazon Gift cards, you can either pay someone 100 USD or use Amazon Gift cards for 100 usd, which he can then easily sell.
