I personally don't have the stomach for it, not for a whole stash, maybe nominal amounts. I've never lost or destroyed a phone but I'm not about to use a mobile wallet w/o keys backed up somewhere else making it a single point of failure.

don't be so sure. any competent thief will look for a wallet app on the phones they steal. and TSA is starting to demand mobile passwords and hook your phone up to a computer to copy the contents and search for terrorist phrases (and steal your wallet files of course).
