Safe place for ETH storage?

Hardware wallet mate.

Don't be a lazy faggot.

If you can't take the miniscule amount of time to protect your assets by putting it in your own wallet then stop ducking around with cryptos
>>
>>1843055
any reccomendations?

>>1843062
Sorry m8. New to the crypto
>>
>>1843019
nothing online is safe, in your own wallet where you control the private key is the only safe place for any coin

>>1843055
too much room for failure in my eyes. what if your cat eats it? what if the water main breaks while you are at work? wallet files encrypted and backed up in multiple locations for me.

What do you think about mobile wallets? I got 2.5 btc in my bread walllet as it's the most convienient but I'm getting pretty nervous about it
>>
>>1843971
I personally don't have the stomach for it, not for a whole stash, maybe nominal amounts. I've never lost or destroyed a phone but I'm not about to use a mobile wallet w/o keys backed up somewhere else making it a single point of failure.

They're insured so yes.

There's a passphrase which i can use to revive my wallet on another phone if my phone was lost so it seems fairly secure unless my phone was hacked but that seems unlikely
>>
>>1843982
>but that seems unlikely
don't be so sure. any competent thief will look for a wallet app on the phones they steal. and TSA is starting to demand mobile passwords and hook your phone up to a computer to copy the contents and search for terrorist phrases (and steal your wallet files of course).

keepkey
>>

How do you store yours?
>>

wallet on debian backed up to multiple locations including keychain pen drive. I would transfer just what I needed to my coinbase account if I wanted to spend it on mobile.
>>
>>1843019
Selling it and buying a Vanguard ETF
