> How is it free?
"People" invest your settled funds when you're not using them, just like banks.

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, why?
Robinhood graphs are shit and only show you an average, not true real-time prices. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using stockcharts.com, finviz, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

God hates me, Im cursed, I have lost atleast 15k trading for 6 months, no matter what I do, God stands ready to shaft me, suicide is a valid option for me.

Granted I have 100k in my bankaccount, but im a useless piece of shit. I earned my money through bitcoin, put all money on trump, put all money on patriots right before halftime.

I made all my money except bitcoin, from gambling, but Im getting enormously shafted from daytrading, I would had more money putting money on some shitty grampa ore stock than what im doing now. God hates me, life hates me, never had a real job, suicide is valid option.

SPEX:
Wow this might actually be a good buy.
Basically this company buys patents and stuff
"The Company is a patent commercialization company focused on generating revenues
from the monetization of intellectual property, or IP. Such monetization includes,
but is not limited to, acquiring IP from patent holders in order to maximize the value
of the patent holdings by conducting and managing a licensing campaign, or through the
settlement and litigation of patents. We intend to generate revenues and related cash
flows from the granting of intellectual property rights for the use of patented
technologies that we own, or that we manage for others. To date, we have generated
minimal revenues and no assurance can be provided that our business model will be
successful."
>Cash is only 303k right now, but up from last year
They never held much cash anyway
>15.5 million total assets
>7 million in marketable securities
>8 million in patents and shit
Basically their assets are very liquid.
>6.5 million in total liabilities
>NO DEBT
>Most of their liabilities are from services they got paid for but still have to do(confusing if you don't study finance)
>9 million stockholder equity
>9mil stockholder equity / 4.82 mil shares = $1.87 share just based on their assets & liabilities
>Their revenue seems to be growing exponentially
2013: 27k
2014: 10k
2015: 33k
2016Q1: 72k
2016Q2: 177k
2016Q3: 314k
They are still losing money, but closing the gap quickly.
From what I can tell, in 2015 they paid 37mil over the fair value for something...probably some intellectual property
>Administrative costs seem pretty low compared to everything else.
>Issued about 2 million shares of common stock in 2016(Before RS)
Not ideal
>>
>>1843107
Other notes:

The Company continues to incur ongoing administrative and other expenses, including public company expenses, in excess of corresponding (non-financing related) revenue. While the Company continues to implement its business strategy, it intends to finance its activities through:

>managing current cash and cash equivalents on hand from the Company’s past equity offerings,
>seeking additional funds raised through the sale of additional securities in the future,
>seeking additional liquidity through credit facilities or other debt arrangements, and
>increasing revenue from its patent portfolios, license fees and new business ventures.

This company has may options. Even if revenues don't grow right away, it can stay afloat for a while

Good Points:
>Their value based on stockholder equity is greater than their current stock price (1.87 > 1.24)
>Revenue seems to be growing and growing exponentially
>EXTREMELY liquid. Almost all of their assets can be sold for cash.
>NO DEBT... They have room to take on more debt if necessary
>All signs point to this company being able to absorb hard times
>I personally think that their company is a good idea.
>expenses decreasing

Bad Points:
>Company still in the red suffering net losses
>Litigation risk from getting sued and stuff
>The company itself is holding broad base ETFS, so vulnerable to market fluctuations
>Have a small number of deals with companies so far

Overall I think this stock is a buy. I'm gonna buy some SPEX when market opens on Monday
I don't see that much of a downside risk to this stock, and don't see it going bankrupt anytime soon because it is so liquid.
I do see a fast growing revenue and alot of upside potential.
Hope that helped guys.

when i feel sad about my losses I take some time off from trading, a week or two lets say.

I spend some of that time off analyzing my trades. Look at the charts, see where you entered, see where you exited. Take note of what you did wrong.
Why did I enter here?
Why did I try to call the bottom there?
Why did I panic sell this little dip?
Why did I hold this downtrending piece of shit?
Why did I gamble on that?

Only you can improve yourself anon.
Don't be sad. Don't be afraid. Fear is the mindkiller.

im in the mood to be helpful so I'm going to repeat my personal rules here again for you all

1. Dont try to catch falling knives (you cant predict the bottom)
2. Dont chase 'meme rockets'
3. Dont add to your losing positions
4. Dont go balls deep into any one thing
5. Dont trade leveraged ETFs (like JNUG/JDST)
6. Dont enter trades blindly (do research, study the historical charts etc)
7. Dont gamble on earnings reports.
8. Dont PANIC
9. Dont forget to put a stop loss (real or just mental) and *commit to it*
10. Dont listen to /biz/

Because they're gamblers, you don't trade on days with low volumes across the board you don't trade when you see the obvious pump and dumps from the DOW you don't trade when you know the dollar is getting stronger.

What you need to tell these faggots is to hold onto cash and realize that by doing so they're making money just holding to it because the price of everything is going down with the increase of the dollar.

I'm new. Bought ALQA at 0.65 today after earnings crash, plan to limit sell tomorrow at 0.70.

Smart?
>>
>>1843375
maybe. where would you exit if it keeps dropping? if you take losses at the same price range as where you would take profits then its not a good trade. keep the reward:risk atleast 2:1. that way even if you have 50% chance of winning you still win long term.

you can calculate whether your strategy is viable or not long term by using the binomial distribution formula, net profit formula (different for everyone depending on how you put your money in), and average win/loss with probability of win/lose out of a large sample. you dont always need a 50%+ chance to win to get rich, but that definitely helps
>>

for starters, learn some basic technical analysis and apply some simple math. its not hard.

all financial instruments, not just stocks, have something called "support" and "resistance" (bottoms and tops). support means people put a lot of buy orders at a certain price, and resistance means people put a lot of sell orders at a certain price.
the reason why they do this is usually purely psychological. mathematical if they're more sophisticated. the longer a lowest price stays the lowest price, people tend to believe the price wont go further than that number. the same goes for resistance points. so people are less motivated to sell near the support, or buy near the resistance, and more likely to buy near the support, and sell near the resistance. this psychology makes prices at sup/res hard to push through, and causes prices tend to temporarily reverse from those points

just by knowing this, you can form a strategy that will be profitable long term. find some stock with a reoccurring support/resistance and set a buy order just above the support, or a short order just below the resistance. as well as a stop loss orders on the other side of those barriers. take your profits if price reverses. take your loss as soon as the support/resistance is broken. your potential reward:risk should be atleast 2:1, and you have a minimum 50% chance of winning. (100% guaranteed this is what a lot of algos do)

use formula u learned in math class P(x)=[n!/x!(n−x)!]*p^x*(1−p)^(n−x) to figure out whats the probability of you making more than break even for break even, out of say 30 trades because thats all you have patience for.
since probability of win:lose is (Atleast) 1:1 and reward risk is atleast 2:1, lets just say you need to win 10 times and lose 20 times to break even, so set x=>10 < 30 and find cumulative P, which is 98%. you'll see its literally impossible to do worse than break even.

trading, not gambling

I want to write a bot that uses your strategy and see if it can at least make a profit in backtesting.

on what timeframes do you look for support and resistance

judging by your commission fees i take it you trade very frequently so I assume you trade support / resistances intraday on 5 minute charts or something?

or am I wrong and you use daily candles to find longer term support / resist zones?

By definition a support is a bottom and a resistance is a top so I don't know how you'd find it without looking at the chart. If you're asking how to predict a bottom or a top, that can be done but it's very difficult.

Sure just look at OWCP a few days ago, you'll see that it made a support at 1.06. The next day it touched 1.06 and reversed again. I posted a screenshot of my position at 1.16 and got out for a 1.1k profit that day on robinhood thread.

You don't have to look at my trades to see how it works. It happens on pretty much everything. As for what sup/red are the most effective, it depends on a lot of factors. Many textbooks could be written on it. Generally daily chart ones are good choices.

I'm asking how you can teach a program to identify them, especially since they commonly occur on slopes instead of perfectly horizontal lines.
It certainly sounds like a valid strategy but if an algorithm can't do it, it's not legit.

thats not the type of support/resistance i was referring to. i was referring to the ones that you can draw a horizontal line on, which commonly occurs. see picture

but the sloped ones you're talking about, just draw a straight line and they'll often line up. you can buy one price or multiple prices hitting the trend then just sell all when it stops doing that. another valid strategy, but this is not good to chase. you have to anticipate it happening before it happens. by the time the trend is obvious, it will stop. its often created by hedge fund algorithms which moves up a large buy order periodically to support a uptrend. when it realizes people realize the trend, it puts less effort into it or just sells off a huge chunk. its a reverse psychology game

MOSY has earnings tommorow. I already made a flip todays ago for 20%. I think its gonna spike again. It over compensated on the rebound and now its going to pull up before earnings tommorow. I was the original person advocating MOSY b4 the spike 2 days ago.

>>
>>1845002
You mean for TENX?
>>
>>1845005
Fuck MOSY
The minute you type it you look like a shill, so why bother?
>>
I don't understand bids and asks, for AMD both are happening above the current price.

I see bids and asks at current level
>>
>>1845018
Normally I don't think Yahoo finance is delayed, I know Google is. Maybe when it comes to asks they are delayed.
>>
OCRX is todays meme runner

>>
>>1845023
But I'm not retarded though, Yahoo's finance page is not delayed when it comes to stock price or volume. Odd that the bids and asks are, but it's how it is.

Because its a wualoty stock backed by many hedgefuns and investing firms with a high target price and earnings coming up. The minute you diss it without providing any facts onto why its a bad stock is what makes you the short shill
>>
>>1845042
You just started trading. Of course you lost money. You're supposed to learn from your mistakes.
>>
>>1845041

Even amazon can suck it. Women love to dress up and go with their friends to the mall and buy lipstick and other dumb cunt products.
I'll be 20% richer tomorrow.

I am only worried about their P/E ratio. The report needs to be really good
