I don't know, probably aim for climbing the ladder at your job. Become the head of HR, then move up from there. You may require some degrees if you don't have them. I'm not sure which since it's not my field or even continent. You could be less fucked, but you could be more fucked, too. You might make it to VP if you work hard at it enough, but it may take a decade or two, depending on the size of your company.

you have a chance if you become a headhunter or work for commission in sales for a benefits company.

otherwise, just enjoy your $50k/yr and middle class lifestyle

This photo sums up America probably better than anything I have ever seen.

Close competition being that woman on a scooter tipping it over trying to reach groceries.

Your chances of becoming a "wealthy" by simply having any traditional job are non-existent. Tax rates all over western world would take care of that.

You wither born to wealth, win a lottery or do something extraordinary, starting a company, play poker, stuff like that.

Typical murrican is poorer than an average greekman. Funny fact is the countriers with low median net wealth have strong socialist movements, germany, sweden, usa.

Wealth gained through HR is not in the money but the people because they are our greatest resource

When country has social safety nets, you don't have to accumulate wealth in order to be able to have roof over your head, send kids to school or survive an unexpected illness.

I suppose in case of US it's just because all wealth is already controlled by your betters.

There are ample opportunities to leverage your personal experience as a salaried person into being a business owner, and they don't necessarily require starting a company - you can buy one

are you dumb? the median household income is declining toward $50,000 after peaking in 1999 (in real terms).
HOUSEHOLD
MEDIAN

$50k annually is considered average in America so yes, middle/lower middle class.
>>
>>1776222
this is a skewed metric
Americans spend more of their income than most other countries, this results in big debts, but it doesn't mean those debts are lost from the economy, in fact its the opposite. By retirement age, all that debt has become equity. I notice it says median, but how about average?
