You niggers heard of this graphene stuff? Been all over the news again lately and I'm starting to feel like it could be the next huge advancement, how does one go about investing in it/is it worth investing in?
bump
I would like to manufacture it but I would needs thousands of dollars.

there's just no good production methods rn and graphene is fairly old news. I think we'll see it become extremely popular eventually, but I'm not sure if that will be in 5 years or 25 years.
LMT has a good patent for graphene water filters but idk if they've done anything with it. LMT also has shot up a shit ton recently with the f35/trump programs.
BASF, Dupont, DOW are probably other good companies to look into
You would have to invest in a firm that manufactures the material at large scale.
Of which absolutely zero exist. You may as well be asking where to invest on metallic hydrogen.

Concern as in "don't touch it" or as in "the material may become particles and inhaled without you noticing" ?
Also, there is no "pure play" graphene maker to invest in.
They're all researched by some larger corp or conglomerate... Nokia, Samsung, Dupont, 3M etc.

all you need is a pencil a sharp razor and come scotch tape.

soap, pencils, blender. Graphene is pretty much a meme, it does some interesting things but it's not magic like every one makes it out to be.
It doesn't matter what it does, all that matters is its worth about $100 for 100mg and if you can figure out a way to make it from sugar you will be very rich.
China has the largest supply of graphite i think. You can invest in chinese mining companies, bit risky but if it takes off like it seems like it will in the mid term then you could make quite a bit.

Graphite batteries

>wonder miracle item! can literally change the world!
>still hasnt been realized into a product
>isnt being sold
>isnt being mass produced
nah, its a meme. stop watching those pseudo science bullshit videos on facebook with flashy text animations. if it was as good as everyone is claiming it to be, we would already have it everywhere in our homes. theres no reason why some hyper mega conglomerate wouldnt already be all over this shit

Graphene is usually used as a very fine powder, so it'd be the latter if you're a manufacturer. I think most final products would 'functionalize' it such that it's no longer a powder, so hopefully the former for the end user

Nah something can be legit and big business will still ignore it or even try to sabotage it because of greed. Look up hemp, ethanol, early electric cars and Thomas Edison's lying ass trying to convince the masses DC current was superior to AC current.

Its not like new batteries get released regularly, so when would you predict a new one to become available?, they are not on some cycle and of the candidates for a new battery why isn't graphite one of them?
