I've adopted a strategy to not jump on memes till 10 - 10:30 because I've noticed many memes having early day runs just to start plummeting around that time.

If a meme isn't dropping and doing terribly I see what's going on with it and compare the average volume to the current volume and if it passes all that I'll jump in.

But in the case of PULM and NAKD I didn't see any good memes till the end of the day and was thinking it was gonna have a gap and a good morning run then I sold early the next morning. After I sell I don't put my money back in stocks until another meme passes my criteria.

That explains why you'll see big jumps in my portfolio followed by periods of stagnation. However I've only adopted that strategy this week so I'll see how it turns out.

Their public stock offering is completed monday and listed at 3.10 so I assume it might pump back up to $4 or more.
Their Q4 results noted they are free of debt, and lots of people are saying it's making a recovery run.
Might make a run like DRYS did.
Obviously not good for the long run because Trump doesn't give a fuck about solar power, but might be good for a week-long hold or so.

I have about half of my portfoilio in nice safe boring dividend stocks. Mainly to make up for how shitty bonds are right now. Its in utility companies and MLP oil storage pipeline companies. I haven't found a REIT I liked yet. There are a billion of them and 90% of them have absurd amounts of liability. So the dividend income is a hedge against my growth stocks and a lot of these companies I have have good capital appreciation too.

I haven't gotten around to searching for telecom stocks. I went lazy and bought a telecom ETF and it's an underwhelming dogshit underperformer I think was overvalued when I bought it.

I learned not to just buy multiple stocks in the same industry, the best industry for dividends are in electric utilities and MLPs, I'm just going to buy more $WPT if I feel like I need more divy income.

I like $WPT because majority of it's stock is actually held in a convoluted flow-chart of holding companies owned by the company or it's primary shareholders, another big chunk is owned by it's long term clients. It has no debt and 20%+ cash flow profits. Holds strategic locales for the oil industry.

Not shilling, the price will not move much, the dividend yield is around 7%

The good thing about a job is 100% chance at getting gains you don't risk losing any of it. Yeah it's a lot different in what you could make. But remember with gains you're constantly deciding between reinvesting or pulling it out which is hard when your capital is low because you want to be saving all your money now to magnify any returns in the future.

I've done a daytrade with PULM where I bought in at 3.20 and traded market price at 3.34 and within the 2 second time frame it takes for RH to complete the trade it dropped all the way back to down to 3.24 and I got pissed.

I'm not saying RGSE is good for daytrading or anything i'm simply saying there may be a big pump coming in monday.
While volume may make the price choppy, after all it is a very volatile penny stock.

Is it a good strategy to throw money in a company right before the earnings call? It seems like in todays economy most stocks go up regardless after the earnings call. Is there a website i can use that lists all the upcoming earnings announcements?

Not really that simple. It's all about when you sell. A lot of the stocks shilled on here spike shortly after and then crash. So you can make a "right" choice, get greedy, then end up holding too long and catching the crash. Then you get to either cut losses or baghold.

If you know what you're doing, or are lucky, you can predict if a stock will pop soon or not. These meme stocks generally don't follow logic quite as much as legitimate blue chip stocks, so 50/50 is usually the best you can hope for short term.

Week Summary:

I've put 25% in TENX(.85!) and 75% in PLX (.81) While PLX is a very good company, it's a slow and steady gainer.

I've lost like 7000 dollars the last week;. "Lost" 4000 selling out of RNVA which i bought at .10. Couldn't handle that debted shit anymore so i sold at .7, While managing to make a couple of grand the previous week with that money, I spent most of it on brokerage. Buying NASDAQ from EU costs me min. 10$ each transaction, and also 0.2 percent. With these cheap penny stocks i buy and sell a lot eating my gains. Is there any international and cheap brokers i could use instead? Preferably with nice graphs and tools which is meagre on my current.

I am tempted to sell out of the long-slow PLX and day-trade, but it will cost me several hundred dollars. Right now i have 15k invested. I want to grow that trading, before investing, Is there any good memes that have no debt, dilution and upcoming catalysts this week?

I get bitten almost every single time I try the small cap biotech shit. I've decided it's just not my bag. So far the best advice I've ever heard is by far to invest in things you can understand. I apply that to every trade and it works out for me more often than when I was trying to get in to esoteric shit that's over my head.

The best I've done is ABBV but it's larger and has demonstrated successes and cash flow. Everything else with a good looking chart or promising-sounding pipelines has fucked me.

Whew been a while. I know you're soul is telling you to not listen to reddit advice. This isn't advice. So chill out. Just something I think has that "reliably volatile" charm you all are addicted to.

$SGYP. I have been watching this stock over the past year since march 2016. I had 201 stocks at 3.37 avg price.

They have been developing plecanatide for awhile and just this past half year or so things have been going quite well for them on the pharmaceutical side. Financially I am thinking they may be lacking but I do not know for sure. All I know is that they have developed trulance (plecanatide) and it has been approved by the fda for CIC and IBS-C. Constipation/irritable bowel. These have large markets and the only competitor trulance has is linzess. In trials, it proved to perform marginally better than linzess in significant areas such as diarrhea rates.

To conclude, at the moment there are some big events to anticipate regarding commercialization and production. It'll be expensive. Money I'm not sure they have right now (take that with a grain of salt I haven't seen the numbers). But Synergy is sitting on a truly viable product according to the results released by the FDA/CDC

Just last week it broke $7. It seems to reliably change by 5, 10, 15 cents daily. However I and many others are optimistic at the long term potential. I wrote on here like a year ago so hi hope you're not in crippling debt.

Can't tell if ATVI is a good buy or I just play so much Overwatch that I'm trying to confirm my bias
