I'm working on opening a canna cafe for legal public consumption because of new laws passed in Colorado. Because of the regulations I won't be selling or cooking any THC (sad) but I can allow smoking, vaping and edible consumption, so I'm thinking it's a good chance to get into the industry in hopes that we'll be able to manufacture edibles on site in the future.
I'm just about to start heading to investors and figured some general feedback about the base idea would be nice. Just to see if there's really a market for it and interest in general.

That's like opening a bar that doesn't serve alcohol.

Industry is still underground. All the growers are still mostly illegal.
All the publically traded companies now are basically scams, or destined for ruin.

As someone who lives in Colorado and drives past a stupid number of dispensaries, don't bother. That area is too saturated, not worth trying to force your way in. Especially with every decent area for the demographic already bogged down by people who want what you want.

What's the point? Just a weed-friendly cafe? Boring!
