Are we back in the housing bubble? Everything seems insanely inflated again but I live in an expensive area so it's hard to get perspective.

Haven't thought about that, but I could see how that might effect some areas. Some of the "decent" houses as well, easier to afford with 5 people in them paying rent.

Reverse of a housing bubble. Not enough housing for the plebs, rents are high. Total reverse of the housing bubble back in the early 00's. When everyone had a house, defaulted on it's mortgage and thousands of shitty tract homes were left unoccupied.

Look at the price to rent ratio in your area, that will tell you the story. If a mortgage is way more expensive than rent, don't buy
