First time poster and have barely any knowledge of business.
Am currently in college to get a bachelors in mechanical engineering, planning to do a second major in business.
I'm 19 and trying to get ahead financially since my young age is an opportunity
Am I on track? Is getting a degree in business worth it? What is it that I will learn?
Anyone who was in my position previously, please give any pointers you can.

First, don't go for business just to go for business. Like one of my friends like to say you can learn much more from self teaching and actually creating a business or marketing scheme then paying a school to read it out of a textbook. Hell, he dropped out of high school of his own free will and is now a millionare. But, he kinda is a shut in with anxiety disorders.
Just master in your engineering degree, unless you actually want to now just go into actual stuff you have to have a FAME degree for, like accounting or finance degrees.
Just curious, how much debt do you already have.

No. Even an MBA has marginal value; a bachelor's or a minor is worthless.
Just focus on the engineering degree and you'll be fine.
