For real though, no one is going to give up their niche and make you into competition.
The best youre going to get is "ok" suggestions

Did i make a mistake going into FBA? I did find and order an item but I only recently found out someone is doing it for cheaper and in 3 packs. I want to kms. Now I have inventory and it's still not in Amazon, idk if it will even sell if I get it in.

FBA is better for shipping and reliability, but it will cut into your margins more (obviously).
Its going to vary product by product whether or not its a mistake. Can you achieve a desirable price price point factoring it in? Does better shipping for the consumer justify the increased cost to you for the product?

This whole thing is just a shit show. The other guys are doing FBA too but they are manufacturing it themselves so they can sell for way cheaper. Idk what to do I thought Amazon would be a good way to start my first business but I feel like I've made a mistake.

If you have a good amount of capital to get started (at least a few thousand), then get into private labeling.
Do some giveaways for reviews.
Buy some FB ads or Amazon PPC ads to get initial exposure.
Build a brand around it.
If you don't have much starting capital start with retail arbitrage.
When you get like $5-10k saved up then get into private labeling.
