The value of TrumpCoin will always be whatever people's collective subjective judgements will determine it to be.
Just like with every other currency. New "technology" is just another thing that can bring people to subjectively value it more, it is no different from it having Trump's name.
Especially considering how none of these shitcoins is ever gonna get widespread use, no matter what kind of shit they introduce.
99% of all that growth is pure speculation and is no different from TrumpCoin.

Basically it holds the price down. If there's a sell wall for say 20 bitcoins at 60k satoshis, people aren't going to want to wait for that wall to either break down or just go away, so they're more willing to take LESS than 60k satoshis in order to move their product.

I posted about a conversation I had with the mods of a brand new exchange earlier today.
