Is it a good idea to start a hemp paper manufacturing business?

Pros/Cons?

Thanks!

Grows quicker than trees

marketing is your biggest concern, you will probably end up like del boy with a stack sitting in your garage waiting to be sold for months and months

because DDUUUUUUUUUUUDDEEEEEEEEEEEE

Overall it is cheaper to grow than trees.
Hemp is around 70% cellulose
Trees are from 40 - 50% cellulose

But in the end it's obvioulsy the same end product, since cellulose. For industrially produced paper at least.

That Hemp in his image is hand made, so it's better becauce DUDE WEED LMAO

Does it have the same properties as normal paper?
What's the price per tonne you can achieve?
What's your starting capital?
>>
Oh and general pro tipp for everyone:

Never start a manufacturing business for standardised products which are sold by weight unless you have a few hundred million dollars starting capital.

Well it depends. If you're doing some high-price crafty cheesecake shit you might have some luck. If you're doing plain old toast for the consumer market, you're gonna get outpriced immediately.

Standardised is the key word here.

Now I've seen it all.

But is price the only contributing factor to success in the world of consumerism?
I mean, it seems people (especially millennials) are able and willing to pay out for service now more than ever...
Hence on-demand services doing so well recently...

I'm interested in this thread. Todays wood business is shit.
I know that hemp is potential for cellulose, oil, bio-fuel, clothes and and and... When UN criminalized hemp, normal fibre hemp just kinda disappeared. Back in the days allmost every house at countryside had hemp farm. For like clothes and rope.

OP, lets do this together and find potential way to make some money and make world better place!

Sorry for text, I just wrote it fast and don't care about that so much atm.

Did you even read what I wrote?

A lot of times on-demand is cheaper than the alternative though so thats kind of a shitty point (netflix vs cable for example)

starting a paper production company in a world which is relying less and less on paper every year. I company I might add that can't compete in terms of the level of economies of scale as the others do
