What are some networking/business/philanthropy clubs or organizations I can join to both make connections that can further my career, learn from mentors and help contribute to the community. Masons is outta the question because I don't have any family members who are Masons, plus I'm not white. Any other suggestions?

This mindset is the exact reason why freemasons got a bad rep
People were joining to make connections and money, not to serve the community
Fuck off filth
The world is a cancerous place and secret society members should be shot
Find a local business networking society in your city. There are tons in major cities, all relating to your career path.
I've honestly made more connections with older, successful men at cigar shops than anywhere else. Just grab one, sit near some people, and start a conversation if they seem willing.
titty bar works well, but all of the people work in construction or programmers, lots of general contractors and small construction business owners
