Alright /biz/
Redpill me on SEO. I'm trying to do everything the right way but it just doesn't seem like its worth it. Why should I waste my time with keywords and visitor engagement and all those other SEO memes when I can just spam my backlinks to high page rank sites?
Is whitehat SEO a meme?
I'm no expert. Still getting my shit together.
But I'm under the impression that Traffic + keywords are the most important factors.
In other words content is king. Backlinks aren't all that.
Not sure though.

It just seems like a chicken and egg thing to me. Traffic improves your search engine ranking which in turn improves your traffic.

Sounds great. For 2005!

Yeah I know it can actually be a negative thing. But if you're already at the bottom it seems like it might lead to at least initial traffic

How long have you been trying to get legit links? And what are your results?
Google intentionally cripples new websites to lure out pajeets so they can filter them.

Most pajeets have no long term strategy. So their website will either disappear or get put into Googles spam folder before they achieve anything.

Your totally wrong dude back links are the single most important ranking factor on google. You can have millions of visitors and right keywords without back links you won't show on google search. You can rank a website to the top of google with back links with just a sentence and a list of images I know because I've done it

A little over a month now. Only averaging about 10-20 views a day. Its pretty variable. I have days with like 70 views and then days with like 1 view.
