this happened to me too when eth was going to the moon half a year ago. despite insane gains i managed to lose 50% of my stash because the pendulum would swing back whenever i made a trade.

was getting fucked in the ass consistently with a mindblowing degree of accuracy.

The exact same thing happened to me when i went through etrade. I got so sick of it and got an account at optionshouse. Everything changed and I was getting about 60% win ratio. Then etrade bought optionshouse and I went 1 for 17 trading after that. If you are going through etrade cancel your account.
