/biz/ looking for a little advice, I'm a 21 year old living in a small city in Canada. I'm not afraid to learn new things and I wanted to make a cashflow business. Is SEO actually a good way to make money for someone who has no portfolio?

Search engine optimization? How about--learn an in demand trade, make more than you spend and invest the rest?

I'd prefer to start investing after I have a good amount of money from a cashflow business. Does that make sense? I am heavily influenced by the "fastlane" mentality

Do you have anything remotely close to the skillset required to create said business? Or are you just wishful thinking? Will it exceed 30$/hr on average? Because I work in a Canadian trade and that's what I made in first year, with all the ot I wanted
Honestly, SEO is highly competitive now. I dont really see a "fast lane" kek

I have skills, just trying to get the best side job so I can build my assets. And I don't wanna lose time and money with formal education when I can find access to all the education and more online. It's tough out there, anon. Just trying to acquire a lot of shekels

I work in one, I won't tell you what it is for reasons. but it's not hard to find. you might have to move cities. rail unions also pay well from what I understand

I can't speak to side jobs. Personally I've had more success working ot at a single job because 1.5x wage is hard to beat.
