Im currently using Wells Fargo

While ive never had any issues with them, everyone i know recommends i should switch to a Credit Union.

More specifically, Nusenda Credit Union.

Whats /biz/s opinion on this?

There's no advantage to using a bank over a credit union if you're a common pleb.

Any credit union will be better.

Like the other poster stated, there isn't much of an advantage to using a conventional bank. Credit Unions offer better rates in terms of savings accounts and interest rates on car and home loans. However, they don't have the availability of ATM's(although a lot will reimburse you for ATM fees, and using other credit unions' atm's will most likely be free) and depending on the credit union, bare bones online features which may lack features such as online billpay, etc.

A lot of credit unions these days let you use 7/11 ATMs for no charge.

What are you using the bank for?

There is virtually no difference between any banks for regular checking and savings accounts.

I divide my cash emergency fund and temporary investing accounts between BoA, WF, and a local credit union.

It makes me feel better to not have to worry about any of them doing dumb shit that may temporarily inconveniences me in an emergency or interferes with my investments.

Wells Fargo here too

I have both, though I prefer Wells.
CU doesn't have a setup to send money to other banks. Physically have to walk into the office to do that.

Otherwise rates are low and everyone is genuinely friendlier than Wells.
