you're going to get rather limited value from actually paying someone to mentor you - certainly it is highly unlikely that anyone with a legit edge will give that away for a fee as the best way to exploit an edge is generally to trade it

what you will find however is lots of chancers, some with good but naive intentions and others who are outright snake oil salesmen

so how to find a mentor - well you'll need your interests to be aligned somewhat... best way of doing that is to land a trading role. You can actually get legitimate mentorship from the head of a desk as your (good) performance contributes directly to their bonus as well as yours. Ditto to working for a portfolio manager in a hedge fund or joining a prop firm (one that actually manages it's own capital not a glorified brokerage/daytrading firm).

Actual trading knowledge has serious value and is coveted by those who poses it, it isn't going to be sold for a few hundred £ or easily found in popular textbooks.
