I am an ignorant moron that knows nothing about stock markets and currencies.
However I am highly curious, with Nintendo's stocks increasing such an insane amount, has this had an effect on Japan's currency?
I have noticed that
1 Japanese Yen has gone up to 0.013 Canadian Dollars while a few days ago it was 0.012, is it a coincidence or is this related to NIntendo and Pokémon Go? Will the yen go back down after Nintendo's press release stating "Hey, so we have nothing to do with that game."?

Canada's economy is tied to oil. Japan's tied to Nintendo, Sega, Konami and Square Enix.
