lol if Germany was able to recover from blowing up Europe and having+losing a Nazi empire I think the uk will be okay.
>>
>>1346057

So, you do not understand economy?
>>
>>1346095
>you do not understand economy?
Like, when you get other people to pay for your drinks?
>>
>>1346106

Yes. The UK will collapse cause Hans won't give them free alcohol.
>>
>>1346110
That's the best.
>>
>>1344494
nowadays everything is about economic growth.
money flocks to growing economies.
a shrinking economy makes investors flee and shrink more.

so yes the brexit will toss brits back a decade. you could say that is irreparable.
>>
>>1346129
why will UK stop growing?
>>
>>1346057
How fucking long did that take?

And lets be fair; germans have a sick work ethic - the reason they managed to blow up europe in the first place, just sayin.

Lets see them beer guzzlin britfags replicate that. Don't think so. The remnants of a 19th century empire. Dying. Fucked up guys.

UK will go to the moon while rest of EU except germany (hoping they leave too) will crash
>>
My UK portfolio is the highest it's ever been in the last few days.

Reason being I have shares in global businesses which make profit overseas.

E.g. they earn $ which are now worth more £.
Their cost base is in £ which is now lower.

Now is a good time to buy UK listed pharma, mining, consumer products etc. Choose big, stable companies. Stay away from financials until the dust settles.

Buy into fearful markets if you're young and can tolerate the risk.

Why do you think this?
>>

>>
>>1344494
It probably will desu, Britain will never be as rich as it could have been had they not let mindless populism destroy the 50 years of hard work it took to drag their ungrateful "people" out of recession.
>>
>>1346836
Why would a significant lowering of their trade potential and the value of their currency bring them to the moon? What is your reasoning behind this?
>>
>>1346977
Unilever gets 60% of revenues from developing markets.
Associated British Foods gets 60% of revenues from outside UK, though Primark will hold it back.
Diageo for booze.
British American Tobacco is 70% in developing markets.
Reckitt Benckiser's chart looks good.
>>
>>1347153
All their exports are 20% off now. How is this bad for their trade potential?
>>
>>1347150
>Britain will never be as rich as it could have been
And I should've fucked Dale Evans, but I didn't!!

The EU needs the UK economy to survive.

The UK economy was being dragged down by the EU. Socialists are mad because they were told to vote remain, and don't know how 'one man one vote' works. EU is mad because they just lost their meal ticket. SJWs are mad because anti-immigrant stance. Tories are mad because Boris does a better job than any of them while looking like he got dragged through a hedge backwards and acting like a comedian.

In the meantime, Labour is falling the fuck apart, and the socialist regime change agenda is falling flat on it's face. The stock market has been rising again after the panic.

>The EU needs the UK economy to survive.
No it doesnt. UK needs EU to access Asian markets though
>>
>>1347598
>The UK economy was being dragged down by the EU
how is it being dragged down by the EU if it makes up 50% of their trade?
>>
>>1346057
Dude, ever heard of the marshall plan? of course Europe recovered, when faced with the threat of communism the capitalist leadership had to do everything they could from leaving western Europe vulnerable to socialism...

>Unilever
Beware that Unilever is a legal brainfuck. Unilever plc and Unilever NV are two different companies, listed on different stock exchanges, but which are considered one company for most purposes. I have no idea what the impact of an exit from the Single Market will be on Unilever.
>>
>>1347671
True, I'm so bored I looked through their annual report and still have no idea how they book revenue. They report in € so maybe not a good brexit play.

Having a second HQ in Holland suggests impact will be minimal as they can shift cash flows in and out of EU or UK for their overall benefit. An accountant's wet dream.
>>
>>1347610
Why do you think that?

I have no idea how they make it all happen. I just know that something will have to change if the UK branch loses access to the single market.
They still have not made an investor release about Brexit AFAIK

Globalization is bad for poor people. Poor people drive a consumer economy.

Even just with the whispers of them leaving the EU, if you had stock, you actually could have made a killing off the recent effects of Brexit, but if you're poor and living in the UK it sucked terribly because your savings account and meager income just saw a huge drop.
>>
>>1347873
You're an idiot.
