That short timeframe I'd say bonds.

Yield is really fucking low atm but investing in the stock market with such a short timeframe could be complete disaster if a crash happens.

Genfit, its a french biotech. They target a free market of $40 billions : the NASH market (Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease), basically fat people who eat junk food and do not practice sports (market is huge). Only competitor is Intercept but their product is not as efficient and has safety problems. Currently Genfit capital values at 800 million euros and the product could be released in 2 years. If it is the case, the market value coud multiplied by a strong factor (2, 5, 10...) BUT its very volatile and if the last phase is a failure the company value is zero. Study this investment, its worth it.

You looking for a big return or just safety?

I would say Money Market or CD

Return probably would just be in line or maybe less than inflation but it's safe and guarenteed to not lose face value.
