With so many people trying to work bitcoins into their investment portfolios, there must be a bunch of people using faucets, right?
Why doesn't /biz/ have a pyramid set up to boost peoples' incomes by taking advantage of the fact that most faucets have a referral scheme?
Since a big part of /biz/'s decisions generate market movement anyways, it's not like having a small amount of bonus BC going to someone who's going to follow the same buy and sell curves anyways is going to hurt you. It'll do just the opposite, in fact, along with the fact that everyone would get to be part of the pyramid anyways.

Never understood faucets. How do they make money? What is their ga!e, and how are they trying to scam me?
>>1002552
They make more money from ads than they leak by giving away $0.00000001 per hour or whatever the fuck.
>>1002554
Oh. I got adblock, so I never noticed any ads.
>>1002529
I think because we actually have money in /biz/ at a normal level at minimum.
>>1002556
Many of them have a paid captcha too, which adblock can't save you from.

Whats the system behind turning captchas into money? Is this how gookmoot earns his dosh?
>>1002564
Not sure what exactly you mean. Will give it a stab anyhow.
1)You include some site's captcha code on your site
2) Fool comes to your site, enters his shit, looks at ad performs the captcha
3) Aforementioned third party site confirms for you that the captcha has been completed, and only then do you unlock his fractions of a penny in bitcoins
4) When you meet whatever threshhold, third party site sends money to your paypal/bank account
After you have one faucet site set up you can just shit out a bunch of them with different fonts/layouts so they look like they're from different people. Perhaps using different captcha/ad services so you don't hit repeat-clicker limits as much.

How does the third party use the solved captchas to earn money himself?
>>1002529
You make something like 10c per hour from a faucet, they're for children.

Ads, man.
