Yahoo is a shitty brand and delivers shitty products. How on earth is she supposed to save it? If she wants to save it she'd have to get rid of or rebrand it's core products, like the email and news branch. The products that do work are the products that aren't branded Yahoo, like Tumblr and Flickr.

Luckily Yahoo has plenty of cash from it's old userbase so they can invest in businesses that do make money. It makes sense what she does, but she's still buying shitty companies instead of ones with a proper future prospect.
