Invested in: Chevron, Ecopetrol, Seadrill, RDSA and arcelormittal, 4k each. I already regret it. how fucked am I?
Oh man, you are so fucked. Sell at the open on Monday.
>>961306
its long term only - dont sell keep it for years
>>961306
I am a dumbass.
The reason is that I say this whenever I have a losing trade: "It's not a loss until I take it..."
How do you make a buck off events like this?
>>961288
sell qu'rans and banners in support of muslims.
get that liberal money then donate 20% of the money to an anti-immigration charity
>print "Je Suis Bataclan" t-shirts
>sell them for 5-10 bucks a pop
>>961288
>All those cell phones.
If you had to flee the country for financial reasons, where would you go and how?
>>961236
I'd get a plane ticket to germany, sneak into a refugee area, and fake a shitty Syrian accent. Free government money but I'd have to keep tanned.
>>961249
>You say that like white Syrians don't exist. I know at least one.
They do but the people that are cukkolds and want to help Refugees only want to help the Muslim refugees, not the Christian ones that are being killed by the exact same people.
MONEY MAKING IDEAS THREAD
Post your money making ideas no matter how obscure or shitty they might be.
Just came up with this:
>Purchase concert tickets for well known artists
>resell them once the concert sells out
>????
>profit
my girlfriend is currently purchasing tickets to a justin beiber concert and has told me that every time he comes to our city he sells out insanely fast. thinking about buying like 3 or 4 general admission tickets and waiting until a week before the concert and selling them for like double the price to some dumbass rich white teen girls.
You think no one has thought of this? Pretty sure you need to put a name to buy tickets now to prevent this from happening.
>>961233
obviously people have done this before, initially my friend gave me the idea when he told me about a concert he got in to when it was sold out but he had to pay an obscure price for tickets from someone who had already purchased them.
the next thing im thinking of is whether or not i should buy nice seats or general admission
>>961237
> obscure price
Wtf, did he have to pay in Icelandic kroners or something?
What is your opinion, /biz/? How could he become a billionaire? What are his brilliant ideas and inventions? What differentiates him from other guys of reddit, myspace or our beloved 4chan?
hes jewish
>>961212
>How could he become a billionaire?
luck, talent, work
>What are his brilliant ideas and inventions?
marketing
>What differentiates him from other guys of reddit, myspace or our beloved 4chan?
luck, talent, work
>>961217
what I asked is, out of these three things, which has contributed the most for his success?.
I'm trying to understand the success of facebook. The idea of a social network website was not his. Facebook doesnt have any real innovation compared to other social network sites ( as far as I can tell).
>> What differentiates him from other guys of reddit, myspace or our beloved 4chan?
> luck, talent, work
I believe we cannot say he is any smarter or more talents than the other guys. And I also believe the other guys have worked hard too.
How can I make money writing clickbait?
Not even trying to become rich, but pocketing some extra money each month and living minimally by doing the absolute most pointless job in the history of mankind sounds pretty tits.
Look through Twitter for someone commenting on something SJW, turn up the outrage they express to 11. Then publish. You'll get shares on both sides.
SJWs share because they agree, everyone else shares because they think it's stupid and laughing at SJWs is fun. Then you can make another clickbait about the debate.
>>961121
Sweet, thanks!
Where should I publish it to? Also, should it only be SJW issues or should it be other things too? Exploiting SJW's makes sense, in hindsight, because they're stupid and passionate at the same time.
>>961123
>they're stupid and passionate at the same time.
Also falling under this description: Meninists. Gamergaters.
You could make a career out of this. Just make a bunch of opposing sites to stoke the flames. The fire rises.
Background -
Country: Australia.
Age: 20.
Finances: $0.
Alright, so, I got an Associates degree in Computer Science only to realize (although good at it) I don't enjoy it much. Instead, going to pick up a job at a 'high-energy' sales telemarketing place. Did background checks and the company has been established and active for 15 years. It pays by 35% commission, but I feel like it'd be an environment I'm more suited to. Very charismatic, etc. I have no expenses, at all. I live very frugally (pretty much in poverty) and want out. As long as family relations remain strong I should be able to dwindle here for 5 years with no expenses. If they deteriorate, I have a network of friends who have already offered sofa surfing opportunities with, again, no expenses, not even food. After first year I'm estimating to have about $50-60k AUD to liquidize and am considering financing towards low-risk government bonds. Aiming for my first fully-paid-for house by the age of 25 - no loans, no debt. Intend on putting my website development background into action in my free time and gain some additional $$$ filling in a niche market I have in mind with advertisements.
What are your thoughts? Any and all resources on building a portfolio would be welcomed too. Would like to hit the stock market once I'm competent too.

Tldr
>>961077
Learn the trade, build up capital by investing most of what you make into a mutual fund, build up your credit rating, and then open up your own telemarketing/debt collection agency.
>>961077
You have no money and no job and want to buy a house in the most expensive country in the world in 5 years.
Ok mate, good luck with it.
I borrowed 80 grand from this Jewish banker type dude that I found off google. I fudged a Ton of documents for the field he specializes in to get approved. I gambled it all away. Now I have nothing. What's gonna happen when he finds out. Should I leave the country? I been stalling him for a few months.
Let me guess, you bought Bitcoins
Move. Now. You've more than likely fucked with the wrong guy, and one of you have possibly broken the law.
>>961075
Did you borrow from a company, or from an individual? Did you meet him face to face, or was it all done online.
Best case, they sue you, and garnish any money you make until it is paid back.
Worst case? You die slowly and painfully as they remove whatever parts can be resold.
I am currently building a platform that lets us "build" businesses through crowd sourcing.
Dunamis (the name I chose for the system) lets people work together utilizing our skills to craft businesses.
A few of you may think that this is a Colony.io knock-off but you would be far from the truth. This is not based on tech that is used by Colony - this is built entirely from the ground up.
I am looking for a few like-minded individuals to help continue to build/develop the platform?
Would anyone be interested? More info can be given upon request.
>>960970
Thanks for telling me about Colony.io, this will be a huge help.
>>960972
This. Thanks OP.
Let's play bingo /biz/!

How does Christmas affect the stock market? Retail does well, is this going to bring shit like the S&P 500 up or what?
>>960937
i saw this picture posted on r9k u fucking faggot frogposter go back there
>>960939
I needed a picture to post so I clicked on a random board and saved the first picture.
You're the one that browses there.
>>960937
>is this going to bring shit like the S&P 500 up or what?
Not likely. Christmas is already priced in, so the holiday would only really affect stock prices if sales dramatically outperformed or underperformed expectations.
How do I scam people and make millions out of it?
>>960737
sell them things they want at a price they can afford that is higher than the price you paid for those things.
be female.
>>960737
Pretend to be Jewish.
Guys I'm 18 and just got my first credit card.
Red pill me on this brehs. I'm autistic and don't know anything.
>>960712
Pay it off in full everymonth. Nothing more to it really.
Max it out over a few months then just start paying the minimum payment to build your credit score.
To those who run a somewhat profitable business:
To what extent did you plan out the stuff you did? To what extent was it spontaneous? Does time management play a big role in success?
And which time management techniques helped you the most, in your opinion?
>>960680
Me and my partner ran a really profitable business for the last 3 years. We hired some of our friends along the way too.
It was a business selling a photography related invention we had.
Time management is tricky because I think most perfectionists obcess too much anout time management when that analysis paralysis usually slows them down overall.
Various things should be planned out but that 50-page business plan they teach you to do in college is useless except for maybe getting investors.
>>960700
I'm interested in this too. I don't expect to have a major business plan, but you have a plan, right?
i cry
Anyone here ever write a personal code of conduct and an outline to procedures to streamline your actions when something comes up? I want to write a fairly extensive one but I'm having trouble with formatting.
I will post qts with each response I reply to, if it's any incentive to answer my questions.
Pump for intrest
Here you go
