Hey /biz/,

How much company time do you waste? Are you wasting it right now on /biz/?

If i went to jerk off in the bathroom for 30 minutes is that an acceptable amount of time to waste considering it will make me more productive for the rest of the work day?
20 posts and 3 images submitted.
>>
about 90%

jerking off only takes me like 5min each day at work. that's where I draw the line though

only one JO per day is allowed. Im a moral person
>>
I work a shit labor job with painful 12 hour shifts. I go to the bathroom about every hour just to sit on the toilet and play solitaire for 5-15 minutes. Half of the employees are Mexican and don't give a shit. I've seen people literally take naps and somebody would kick him to wake up when a boss comes around. 1 more semester of CC and then I transfer to Uni upstate and leave this backwoods shithole.

What are some good Marketing MBA programs that cost around 30K €/$?
What are the best money can buy?

One should only get a MBA if the company they work for wants them to and will pay for it. Otherwise, it's a waste of money.

"Marketing MBA"? Sounds like horseshit. Either get a well-rounded MBA or a masters in marketing. Anything in between might be a bit mediocre.

It's a bad idea. If you have 3.3/3.2k. You are mch better investing that money in an investment fund or into an IRA to benefit your retirement.

It's never a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket, especially not that basket.

How the fuck do I make money drawing lewd fanart?

Some people out there make a killing drawing cartoons doing eachother up the bum.

What's the most important aspect of succeeding financially attempting to do something similar?

How would you promote a business as generic as this in an attempt to place yourself above the competition?

the more demented and perverted the fan art = the more niche it is = the smaller the consumer base = the more dedicated they will be = easier, more steady cash to make

Hi /biz/

I'd like to speculate on the ISIS economy growing over the next few years, I decided the best way to do this short of getting into the ISISX (Islamic State International Stock Exchange) is to buy and hold ISIS currency. Where can I do this? Is it as simple as going to the bank and placing a currency order?

Some guy was saying a little while ago that there are new coins breaking the dollar threshold all the time and you can get in early if you monitor them.

They're a scam in the same way conventional currency is, i.e, the majority of it is held by a few people, the only difference is there's no realistic way of knowing who the owners of the majority are and what they plan to do.

Investing in or trading crypto now is just stock market tier gambling.
>>
>>993538
your entire post is oblivious to the entire nature of some cryptocurrencies.

Yeah, some shitcoins are premined and are held by a few people.

Look around and you'll find some that are easy to mine, distibuted, decentalised, have a good dev community and bright prospects.

Those are what you're looking for OP.

There were dozens back in 2013, but they're getting few and far between now, but things are starting to look up again

My father in law has 2 partners that he owns 8 little Caesars with, and a few checkers. He was a manager of most of the checkers in Maryland/DC before he branched out on his own.

He seems to be happy with it, but sometimes regrets leaving his other job. His health is failing, and he still is working 12 hour days. There are a lot of niggers that work for him so he constantly has to stay on top of them or they fuck him.

He has a nice house, eats well, drives nice luxury car, has a boat, vacation house, etc.

The man is never able to use them though because he's always working. Good thing I'm free on the weekends to enjoy them.

My wife's Father owns a few Arby's in Florida.

Just because you have experience and education doesn't mean you can own a franchise. Most places require you to be an accredited investor before they even consider you. And most of the good ones are going to run you $500K+ per store.

Start with something small and cheap like a janitorial franchise or some other B2B business. My Father in law's first business was a plumbing franchise. He pretty much had a monopoly on the entire city (small ~20K people) after 20 years and sold the business to somebody, in which he bought his first Arby's place. Don't expect to get rich on it, but it'd give you experience in running a business. Then if you have the capital, go for something bigger. Retail can be stressful though especially during slow seasons. I would personally go for a B2B or service franchise, where you're getting contracts of guaranteed consistent revenue.
>>
>>993412

You're basically buying a job, but at least you get to go straight to a management position

You'll never get baller rich, but you will probably be comfortable

It's low risk, low reward

I am considering buying Nootropics, apparently a lot of people use it to increase their focus and boost productivity. It's similar to caffeine but doesn't have the usual "disruption" affect or cause erratic behaviour. I am currently in college and suffer from lack of motivation, low energy levels and procrastination (hence why I'm on 4chan instead of studying). This would really help me out if it produced the desired effects. However, I don't know if it's effective or just a meme.

What is your drug /biz/? What's your opinion on the matter?

I drink black coffee 3-4 times a day with no negative side effects, which would be better for focus?
>>
>>992996
From the articles that I've looked at Nootropics would be better for focus. Generally coffee just provides an energy boost, albeit most people tend to have it before work but it doesn't hold any scientific bearing in increasing productivity or focus (mental clarity).

When I was 12, my foster mom died. My foster dad was going to put put me back in the system but I was freaked out by that so I begged. He looked let me stay as long as I agreed to pay for his son's first car and pay for his college. I was 12 and didn't realize what that really meant. I'm 21 now and have finished paying off his car. I still live in that house but pay rent and bills.

His son is graduating this spring and moving to California to go to Berkley college. We're having meetings about this but the loans are going to be paid by me and this sounds complicated. I just got a manager position at my job and make $14 an hour. What should I expect. I know they're expensive but how much should I expect to pay per month.
30 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>992852
Why would you pay?

That is first of all ridiculous(how could a 21 year afford this, let alone agree at 12) and second of all not legally binding in the slightest.

No written agreement first of all... but more importantly a minor cannot enter an agreement. Literally anything you sign cannot be upheld in court if you are a minor.
>>
What the fuck kind of post is this?
A 12 yo can't consent to sex but they can consent to financing the future of another person before they even have their own future.
1. There is absolutely no written contract that binds you, anything close to that is insignificant.
2.What are you even doing?

>>
>>992868
I'm not his son and he let me live there. It's not about contracts, it's about loyalty and debt. His son isn't mature enough to appreciate it and thinks of me as a "meal ticket" but will appreciate it one day.

You'll burn out in less than 5 years.

Hopefully you get paid a fortune and it puts you into management, you'll need it to justify the shit that this workload will take out of you.
>>
>>992627
Confirmed 80 hour per week voluntary here. I'm a service repair plumber around Houston, Texas area. I'm youngest plumber at my company. Most other guys have been doing this about 20 or more years and are burned out, don't want to take emergency on call shifts for broken water pipes or sewage backups in middle of night.

I volunteer to work most of these shifts. I started with this company in late February, and have taken at least 90 on call shifts since then. It works out for me since my fiance is an emergency room nurse who works from 7pm to 7am while my regular work day is the exact opposite. I take the days on call that she works and we see each other a few days throughout the week.

The best advice I can give you is make sure you enjoy what you do, enjoy the company and people you work with, take breaks when you need it, don't feel obligated to take other people's shifts at a moment's notice (tons of people have asked me to do this since I've been working a lot on call), and have a smart game plan for your money.

As of the next paycheck I'll get next week, I'll have reached over six figures (before tax) for this year. My current plan is taking the money I'm saving and use it to start up my own company January 2017. I have no student loans, no credit cards, no debt, and my biggest yearly expense is an agreed $7500 towards property taxes for my fiance's home.

The other poster was right, if you continue working 80 hours a week consistently, you'll burn out much sooner than 5 years. I had burnout after 6 months, but I'm different than most of the other people on this board because I work a very physical job during the heat of summer in attics and outdoors. That takes a lot out of you.

If you have any other questions, just ask.
>>
>>992650
thanks for sharing I really appreciate it. So what kept you gong during the 6 month period, I'll be working a not so physical job and since I haven't started yet I'm assuming the money will be enough to keep me going

Okay so I've been NEETing it out for like 1 year now, going to college next year, 2 years late basically

Anyway, I have 8 months experience in a real business (department stores) as a Sales Associate, did a lot of Customer Service and mainly shilling products to people during the holiday seasons, and did good at it, I also restocked shit and stocked new off the truck stuff, as well as reported stolen merchandise and shit, so I did a bit of everything you can do in a store (made it a point to learn a lot)

My other 'job' isn't really a real store job, since it's all online, but I still got paid for it... so I'm not sure if I should put it on my resume officially or not.. Hear me out. So I've been playing this PC game since like 2012, anyways in 2013 June I got offered to be an In-Game Helper by the Game Manager, and he said since its hard to count my hours, they would just pay me every week, like for as long as they needed me and I wanted to do it. I am one of the top players of the game and I've devoted a bunch of time to it, so it's really like a 24/7 job except for school and work for 4 months out of the year, but I'm on the game every week for like 20 hours (mostly weekends), anyways I'm VERY well known and liked in the community

I was getting paid $50 a week, or $200 a month, for not doing much except gathering info from players and relaying it to GM, then making events for players on the forums, and reporting hackers, reporting server crashes, and stuff like helping players IN GAME, and teaching people about the different game modes, BASICALLY you could call me a Moderator, but I had a lot more roles to do, so more like a Global Moderator that oversaw a team of people and helped new people in the game, as well as came up with ideas and shiz

Is it something I can put on my resume? I genuinely am so good at it, I could probably run the game myself, how should I word it on my resume? How should I make it sound professional since its a damn video game?

>>
>TL:DR

I got paid for being a Moderator and "In-Game Helper" in a video game I've played since 2012, and I got paid $200 a month for it, and I'm still getting paid

Can I put this on my resume? Will it be childish as fuck?
>>
>>992298
yea op put it on your resume. It shows you're a hardworker and a skilled young man.

• Aiding in creating events for players on gaming forum, as well as in-game
• Helped gather data about items players would want to go on sale and what they would buy
• Aided in creating official announcements for Moderators and Game Masters
• Aided in helping various players from new to knowledgeable answering questions about different aspects of the game including Game Modes and the Buy/Sell Area
• Helped many new players get a start, explained various aspects of the game, how they could use it to their advantage, etc
• Created and lead various successful, well-known Teams in the game, of about 25 – 40 people from around the world and made sure people were on time to various events
• Taught my Team how to come up in the game and learn various skills, made various videos for the Game community explaining various gaming events and wrote many write ups on the game forums for people to be able to follow news and exciting new arrivals to the game

This is kind of what I'm writing in my spot about the job itself, is this fine or is it too much?

Ethnic attire is always good. I like to go with a traditional Russian track-suit and always bring in my favourite Jaguar® energy drink to calm my nerves.
>>
Order a coffee, and ask the staff to make it really really hot.

Then spill some right in the lap of the interviewer.

You will DEFINITELY get the job. This shit works every time.
>>
>>992184
>coffee interview

Coffee fucks me up. I certainly hope I never have to have one (again).

Made the mistake of having coffee between interview sessions, and when I finally interviewed with the manager I was wired and incoherent.

Though I got hired since I was overqualified and applying for an intern position at a startup.

So my advice for you is to discretely order a black decaf.

Dress business casual. Prepare your questions in advance - ask about organization/management, culture, expectations. Ask them their personal opinions about their experiences with the organization. Ask about the characteristics of their most effective team members, and what motivates them.

It's better they interview you about your credentials though, gives you a chance to shine.
