Anyone have any experience with paid surveys that pay cash? Know any good ones?
I'm interested in ways of supplementing my income from home that don't require a lot of effort. I already make a decent enough living and have no interest in a second job. Is it possible to make $5-10/hr just mindlessly clicking away on some survey sites for a few hours each night or is it all bullshit?

Mturk is the most reputable and pays next to nothing. I'd learn a marketable skill and use it on odesk or elance before I would ever use Mturk.

If you had about $5000 in cash and made about $3000 a month of extra money (after expenses), how would you put it to work?

Could there not be a board specifically for shares/trading/investing so I don't have to move past all the same dam shit posts everyday?
11 posts and 1 images submitted.

That would require active mods that actually give a shit about keeping the board worth going to. Meanwhile /biz/ is nothing but a meme generator with a 50 to 1 shit to content ratio.

what do I need to get a position like yours?

I'm guessing you make damn good money too, no?
>>
>>1031628

>>1031628

Well, that entirely depends on what your current situation is like. Whats your age, education, work experience, etc. like?

P&G definitely pays well as far as marketing and sales jobs go. Out of my undergrad I am making 60-something a year with a very good life balance. I definitely think my quality of life is better than my finance friends who went into banking etc.

P&G does not offer as much upward mobility as other CPG companies and many people wind up in essentially 2 positions for a total of 10-12 years before they are promoted further. So I'm planning to leave, maybe back to PepsiCo, after a couple of years, to get the experience and invaluable brand on my resume.
>>
>>1031628
Honestly P&G doesn't pay AMAZINGLY better than other marketing and sales jobs straight out of undergrad, but the career path and future earnings it sets you up for is very valuable.

I'm young and single. I make roughly 48k-55k a year. Wtf do I do with all my extra money? My expense are around $1000 a month and I have around 2k extra every month. I have no clue on investing but id like to get into it . I'd also like to run a business one day but have no idea on how to go about learning the necessary skills to start one too. Any good books for noobs at investing / starting a business

How would I go about advertising for a Japanese head baker who has trained and worked in Japan?

I am opening a Japanese style bakery in my hometown (property is cheap) but although I have baking experience, I really need a professional Japanese baker who ideally is looking for a greencard to the USA.

Japanese people don't emigrate as often because they already have a high standard of living, so I really can't count on finding anyone local. Are there sites or headhunters that can match a employer in one country with a professional employee from another?

>>1031233
You're going to have to go to japan to recruit through connections. Someone who knows asian baking inside and out.

I also have a similar dream. Asian countries are so far ahead of europe and america when it comes to food and the dining experience.
>>
>>1031264
Well I happen to be in Japan right now, but I am not able to speak Japanese on a business level.

Would be nice if there is an english speaking recruit agency that I could check in with.
>>
>>1031233
Why do you need a Japanese person to do the baking? Why not get a job at a Japanese bakery while you are in Japan, then come back to the US and open your own Japanese bakery. In the US you don't even have to worry about racist Japanese fucks thinking less of your goods because you're a gaijin. Americans and Japanese-Americans will just be equally happy to buy Japanese-style baked goods.

How did it get this bad?

Fuuuck. So I got a Vanguard Roth IRA last month like everyone told me to. I put $5500 into the target 2045. Just checked, it's at fucking $5130. I thought mutual funds were supposed to grow. What am I doing wrong? I know I took the lazy route in getting a target fund, but I don't want to manage my stocks. Is this just a trend? Surely it'll rise any day now...right..guys?

why don't you be the first OP, send me however much money you'd like to contribute to mankind's first time travel investment. I do take bitcoins.

Time travel forward can be done, you have to orbit an black hole.. and for that you need a spaceship to travel fast enough to escape the huge gravitational pull.. and first of all an orbit hole.

Time traveling backwards - absolutely impossible.

How can I prepare myself best for becoming a trader?
Best and trustworthy sources, tips, etc

My experience is that I am quite good with speculating in the global economy, I've been interested in trading for around 2 years, never really started doing anything serious because I have a comfortable life already. But I want to try something new, tippytoe my way in trading if possible. I have lots of time on the side.

I have an economic background, lots of business as well as biology and math.(statistics and probability)

I know this is 4chan but don't be faggots, I'm asking for some solid advice.

What would be some good advice for me to get started?

Get a job as a trader. Might be hard to do so, but if you really are into trading and have low funds, this is what you should do.
>>
Practice is everything. Start paper trading today. Plenty of places to do that for free, there's a thread on it already.

Your trading style will gradually evolve as you practice.

Read everything you can. Plug your brain into financial news. TAKE NOTES.

Practice, practice, practice.

I don't have low funds, I am trying this first and if it doesnt work out I will follow the entrepreneur inside of me, had an idea to create something to carry heavy objects safely when moving for a cheap price.

What place would you recommend? And yes I am already taking notes, I tend to do this always, also with business ideas and during the job to see progression.

How can I find recent trustworthy statistics or other crucial information to trade with by the way?
