I am wanting to become a private Magic the Gathering dealer and, maybe some day, open my own shop. I plan to start distribution through TCGPlayer and then, if I am making a profit, slowly look for a place to lease.
I don't care about the feasibility of this. I am well aware that my odds of success are slim to none. The only thing I have going for me is my determination and the fact that the only shop in my city is poorly-run.
My question for you guys is this: What is the best way to pick up stock in terms of singles? Should I just buy from TCGPlayer and then resell at a slight profit? Should I crack boosters?
Any help, especially from people in this industry, is greatly appreciated.

To answer your question, craigslist and I would ask around at pawnshops. Places where desperate people sell their hobby shit for below market value. Also where people sell other people's shit and do not know their actual value.
If you try to buy niche items from hobbyists you will not get a good deal.

Read the below and suggest what I should do.
I'm very book smart. I did a respected degree. But on Monday I had a graduate assessment centre for a prestigious government department and probably failed, probably due to bad social skills and / or nervousness.
If you gave me the interview questions on a piece of paper and told me to type up answers for tomorrow, I'd easily do perfectly. Many online application forms require written answers to competency style questions and I've passed them. I'm not a sperg who rambles for 10 minutes. I understand what they look for in competency questions. But when I'm in interviews my voice gets "clogged up" (a lot of saliva in my mouth, I'm quieter, maybe speaking quickly sometimes). I might stutter or hesitate in my thoughts while talking at one or two points in a half hour interview (not to any huge degree but obviously HR normies are ruthless in their culling of non-normies so I assume that it is instantly fatal for my chances when it happens). I wouldn't say that I come across as mentally ill or crazy, merely nervous at most. And almost every graduate recruitment process in the UK is made up of only competency questions (this is true for public sector all the way to very technical engineering positions).

I have failed over 20 graduate or intern schemes within the past 3 years, most of them with tip top tier companies and positions that even Harvard grads would love (and I went only to my local university you probably haven't heard of). Front office investment banking, etc. I should say that I have passed graduate phone interviews but never face to face ones (so I've never passed an entire process).
Is the graduate recruitment process really so ruthless in culling anyone who isn't a normie?

Alright, /biz. Please bear with me.
It's my first post here. I usually go on /ck/, /out/, /pol/ and very ocasionally, /int/.
I've just heard something about that is called in my country (England), by law 'Eminent domain'.
As I understand it, it means that the investments I've just made in property in a very remote area of my country; 3 houses, a cafe/restaurant (where I cook and work as owner) can be simply be 'aquired' by the local government or the national government if they wish to, for example, build a road through my legally owned land. This worries me, because my plans are at the whim of some officails who don't know my village and I can employ people while securing a good profitable business for my family. Something the employees can share in.
I inherited about one £million recently so I invested it in my business which is doing fine (cafe in the day, nice restaurant at evening). I'm a chef, not a businessman. I 'm also severely dyslexic. So sorry foe typos. I usaully dictate emails and letters.
But this idea of ""eminent domain" is scaring the shit out of me. Pic is my village. We don't need anymore roads. Its mils from anywhere. I suspect some corrupt deal at the locl goverment. Some shady contracs.
But I've heard that that there's plans to run a road here.
Can the authorities just take away my investemt? .
Give some advise pleas. I know youre clever fuckers. I have a lot to lose, but a lot to gian.

Trying to do my year-end taxes, but the interest income on my bonds is confusing me. The accrued interest doesn't appear to be correct. Pic related is the interest accrued in 2014. If you look at the next pic I post, there is no way that bonds at those interest rates generated this amount of interest in a year.
