I'm assuming a bachelors. You'll most likely have to start out as a test or support engineer. Depending on the cost of living you'll make about 50k/yr. When you start out you don't know a lot of things like build systems, version control, test planning, and so on. As you become more skilled and knowledgeable you'll be able to negotiate higher salaries. Companies typically don't offer raises unless you ask, but you won't be in a position to ask until two or three years.

Ok, I have heard about this for the last month now
and people seem to be getting completely "hyped" over it, at least here in Germany.
But, after all, what's the difference?
This so called "industrial revolution" is already happening and nothing companies can prepare for anymore. It's already too late, yet I still see on every site "Yes, we are very prepared for industry 4.0".
I may be late here and it was already discussed quite a lot, but I never saw a thread about it.
So, what is all this bullshit actually about?

Seems like a meme, but one based on realistic assumptions about the trend of tech/robotics etc.
In all actuality the loss of jobs will be somewhat balanced out by the lowered cost of goods, assuming the people who run the automated processes don't price gouge too much (competition will probably limit this) New jobs will arise to maintain automated systems etc.
Imo people are way too paranoid about it. We'll see a huge quality of life improvement that'll be apparent way faster than in/after the industrial revolution

Manufacturing Engineer here who is going to start a part time fabrication business when I move out next year whilst working Full Time at a large engineering firm in the UK thats name rhymes with Bolls-Boyce.

Wrought Iron fences, railings, balconies, hand rails etc as the main output and then just odds such as flower baskets, garden furnature, lamps which I will sell on the side as a small bit of income.
As I get things I cannot make with my own machinery (Bear in mind there will be quite a lot of stuff I can't make due to the fact I'm looking for a low cost up front) I will use the same local engineering firms to build a relationship and look to take work that they don't have time/don't want to move into automotive/aerospace components which is where I have experience.

I have a question.
There are loads of online "strategy" games, browser ones (Like Ikariam, Travian, Forge of Empires, Ogame, you know the drill). In my country, there's literally not a single one and one with my country's theme would work great. I have thought of marketing, the main themes, etc, but I'm wondering how much would it cost me to create the game?
I'm not a programmer, so can't do it on my own.

Ok, he didn't really say that but that's about as stupid a statement as all of these "I don't like Bitcoin (because media told me not to) but the underlying blockchain technology is awesome" articles.
Bitcoin is the only blockchain technology that has over a million dollars of security being pumped into it daily. Trying to use something else is as senseless as trying to create your own TCP/IP network that does not connect to the Internet. It might be useful for experimentation for some specific project, but it will never take over the Internet or even really be of much use to anyone but your small project.
