I was thinking about starting a IG dropship business. I would basically fix a aliexpress dropship system that's connected with shopify which i then promote on instagram. Does anyone have experience in this kind of thing and has any tips or feedback? I would target girls in my country that probably would be interested in a specific product if branded well enough.

Hey /biz/
I need some advice regarding university and such in the UK. I'm a student who has graduated HS in Sweden and I'd prefer to study in London if possible. Preferably UCL or at the Imperial. I understand that these are some of the best in the country and getting in will be a challenge. I'm thinking of applying when when I hit 20 since I still need some time. Now my question is this. How will my appearance look to those who view my application? I.e will the fact that I'm 20 and from Sweden be a benefit or not? I know London's extremely diverse but I can't imagine that Swedes are THAT common right? Anyhow I would appreciate every tip you can give me that will help me get in besides having great grades.
Posted this on advice but it got archived and buried beneath every love problem that's over there rather quickly.

If you want to booze it up, party and generally fuck about, then the UK is a great place to be. They are literally the YOLOkek nation.
If you want a solid education which is liable to be worthwhile and yield a positive return, stay in Sweden.
Imperial is solid. UCL is okay. Imperial is one of the few Universities in the UK that is probably still worth the fees.

A 40% return is quite unlikely with most funds, so with 25 funds in the FoF the average would be pulled down even if a handful did achieve the 40%

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. The variance of the returns is also a lot higher from a small amount of funds which is also why I was thinking that. With 25 funds, you'd expect an FoF to pull near the average, provided the manager actually diversified the assets and didn't invest into funds in the same sector. You'll also be safer with 25 for the same reasons as above, of course.

I own a resale clothing store and have one employee, my estimates have me at > $50,000 this year. My source of stock is in Southern California and I turn a sizeable profit on everything I sell.
My current goal is to expand by opening a second location and to build my brand through social media and the internet.
Would going to college be worth it to learn finer points of running a business? Or would it be better to save money and just read text books? Things I need to learn are

Currently I don't think there's any way to run my business more proficiently besides changing the hours and the rest is advertising so I'm not sure if college is necessary.
On a related note, if anyone knows good areas for vintage clothing stores (think hipster areas), let me know. Outside of California I'm thinking Colorado, Texas, Oregon or Washington. In SoCal I know San Diego, Long Beach, Santa Monica/Venice and Silver Lake are all hot tickets (but I honestly hate California personally). I'm more concerned with scoping out which locations would make you the most money down to the neighborhood and street.

I am in a close knit group of (Dank Meme) Instagramers and we have a fuck ton of followers.I make accounts and get them up to 1K followers and then try to sell them.
My question is, how do I find middle-class kids who would want to buy them with Mommy's credit card? It's a lucrative market and I am under the impression that you guys know a thing or two about liquidating virtual accounts and how to market them.

Hello /biz/ folks!
I've been sitting down with my finances over the last few days and i was curious abo paying off my debt in different ways.
Facts:
32yr old firefighter living in dc area.
I have about $15,000 in credit card debt with a 16.5% interest
~30,000 in car payment
And a mortgage of around 230,000.
I have 27,000 in a Roth IRA
70,000 in my 457 deferred comp plan from work.
I also have a pension that'll offer me my salary equivalent after retirement.
I project that I'll earn around 100,000 - 110,00 in total earnings this year.
What I'd like to do is pay off that credit card debt as fast as possible.
Besides working myself to death to earn more money faster, I was considering doing a few things:
Devoting my tax return to credit payoff ~4-5,000
Tapping into my Roth contributions to payoff te credit card
Reducing my tax exemptions to zero and getting a few heavy paycheck a to knock down the credit card bill.
Suggestions or opinions?
I've already tightened up and can stick to my monthly budgets but I want this card paid off as fast as possible because finance charges are bonkers. @ ~150.
I know using savings to payoff credit is kind of frowned upon. I'm 32yrs old and have another 25-30 years of work ahead of me.

I was going to make a care package that provides your monthly essentials for about 25 dollars per month. You would be able to add different add-ons like a plus (items you'd need every 3 months like lotion), men and female packages for like 10-15 month. We were going to start by delivering packages via car delivery to cut cost on shipping. As well as ship to my country(Canada) and expand from there.
