Can we discuss housing prices and why they are so pumped up?

Can you explain it by "supply/demand" or does the problem lie in people's willingness to enslave themselves in mortgages?

For reference, I'm from South-East Europe living in London. To be able to afford the basic human need of shelter, I need to:

>Enslave myself to a bank and become extremely risk-averse in terms of job changing and ambitions.
>For the privilege to live in a shoe box.

OR

>Share the toilet seat with a stranger and instead of mortgage, pay rent, that doesn't really add up to anything long term and is the worse options.

Now, I understand that's the game and I have to play it, but when I walk around real estate agencies and see the words "Let Agreed" for some 6-bedroom house in Surrey at £4000/month. Some faggot accepted to pay FOUR THOUSAND POUND STERLING PER MONTH and some boomer enjoys that, probably from multiple properties. For what, 2m by 2m bedrooms?

Can someone shed in some light, why are people willing to play this game? This system is surreal to me; how people are willing to contest mini-tents or share their fucking home with strangers. The only reasonable option would be to use my recently-acquired citizenship and passport to move to a more feasible place in EU.

Supply is unchanged, demand is high. It will never get better.

You find a niche product for cheap online with free shipping, start a site, give the product for "free" make the customer pay for shipping 9.99-14.99.

You can also just use free shipping and sell the product at a higher price. Aliexpress is a good site to find cheap niche products.

Go all in on fcx.

Diversification is for pussies. If it makes a large turnaround which is likely, you'll have 3-10K.
>>
>>1099580

Save until you have 3K.

Do your own research in the meantime because no one here will give you the right answers for your specific plans, situations, etc.

I am not a youtube celebrity. However, all the youtube celebs that I know of seem to be entirely dependent upon their Patreon.

From this I can infer that there isn't any money in putting content onto youtube itself. The real money is in growing a fanbase and getting them to cough up $5/m.

When asked how to get smarter, Buffett once held up stacks of paper and said he "read 500 pages like this every day. That's how knowledge builds up, like compound interest."

All of us can build our knowledge but most of us won't put in the effort.

One person who took Buffett's advice, Todd Combs, now works for the legendary investor. He took Buffett's advice seriously and started keeping track of what he read and how many pages he was reading.

The more you learn, the more you earn biz!

so i just got a credit card offer in the mail. ive heard horror storys about certain credit cards just fucking people over. i dont personaly know almost anything about credit cards or credit in general(like i JUST looked up what APR is a few minutes ago). and i dont know anyone irl that does so i can talk to them which is why i said fuck it and am asking on here. so my question is which credit card companys ( capital one, american express, chase, discover) do you guys think is the best for building credit? for reference the one i got in the mail is capital one platinum mastercard. 0% APR thu 11/2016. no annual fee. but APR will go to 23.24% after that. i thought it was a sercured crdit card but i dont see anything about a down payment or security deposit. im 26 years old as well

they're all the same for building credit

Just pay it off in time and don't max it out/use too much of it because that supposedly is worse for your credit
>>
when it says 0% APR until 11/2016, what do i do after that? do i just say "hey i dont want to use this card anymore" and get a different one? or will they give me another deal to keep it going or what
>>
>>1096132
Apr doesn't matter just pay it off within 21 days
