Hello wise /biz/iness people.

My apologies if the questions are a bit dumb. I have no experience with this field of work.

I was browsing the part time jobs and keep seeing this broker apprentice ad posted a few times per week (pic related), although the age was lowered from 30 to 25.

Does a broker in 'financial services' sound vague? I am sure with a bit of reading you could learn about mortgages, investments, etc. But my main question is could you even do this type of work part time and be successful?

This sounds like a MLM.
>$10-25k/month
So beginning you earn $12-48,000 a year(barely enough to survive) and then in a couple years you jump to well over 6 figures, and even hitting $200,000/yr?

This sounds vague as fuck.

I mainly buy/sell stocks in the swedish market (as I am a swede), but recently, have been looking to maybe learn a bit more about the US market.

Anyone have any relatively safe stocks to recommend just to learn the market or general tips?

If there are any swedes out there, I use Avanza (like everyone else in Sweden).

Won't be investing in housing, but, I'm assuming something as stupid as the last bubble won't happen again, right?

Hi /biz/ is it possible to short stocks like this immediately when reports come out?

Obviously it is to late for this one, but is there something I can buy to profit on this kind of announcement?

You can create a news reading algorithm tied to a trading account.

To my knowledge there isn't anything you can get "off the shelf" to do this, but with a bit of programming know how you can build one in a few days.

Two years is not a long time. Remove "over" two years.. you sound like a douche

Find out the name of the Hiring Manager so you don't address the cover letter to "Hiring Manager".

Without formal education (MBA?) your management techniques don't mean shit. remove that faggotry

you can't have any ideas unless you've seen the facility before. You can offer to learn about their unique circumstances and discuss how they could benefit from your experiences.. it's an offer you're making to them a value proposition for them bothering to talk to you since they probably already have someone they want to promote internally.

you can do informational interviews too if you aren't too socially awkward. Otherwise maybe forget about being a supervisor just apply for a labor position instead

I was told I was supposed to do that because it's proper.
The hiring manager is actually my boss.

>you can't have any ideas unless you've seen the facility before.
I've been working there for over 2 years bro.

>since they probably already have someone they want to promote internally.
Yeah that's ME!!
I just have to make this cover letter nice so they actually hire me.

- Anyone here have a successful and durable experience in forex trading ?
- What's techniques did you use ?
- With how much money did you begin ?
- Gives me advice for a beginner like me, please.

I am really sad when i read specialized forums in forex, why?
Because all the trading journal I read ends the same way :
They end up losing all their gains and have their account to 0 dollars, after 6 months or 1 year.

I need testimonials from people who really live forex successfully since several years.
http://forums.babypips.com/newbie-island/70214-truth-about-forex-you-cant-become-rich.html

I think this method is the best to learn forex or index cfd:

Depositing tiny amount less than € 200 and try to make it grow until 1000, once in 1000 reached 900 withdraw.
With the remaining € 100, try to grow them again to € 1,000, remove 900 ... etc.
Do it 10 times successfully
Instead of dropping € 50,000, losing after six months, redeposit € 20,000 and lose again after one week.

Analyse market trends and make your own projections from them, taking finance-affecting news into account. Don't take risks on rumours or fall for business magazine predictions. You have to put the work in yourself if you want to be good at it.

This is going to sound very naive and dumb, but are the salaries of most white collar employees even justified on an economic basis? I don't mean morally, I mean are they being overpaid?

So a big 4 audit employee makes about £20 k at first then I think about £40 k after 3 to 4 years. What the hell is there to learn that adds so much value? Are they being paid this much so that they don't make mistakes?

Have I been fortunate to only be around people who are on the better half of the IQ bell curve? Are smart people in short supply?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Four_(audit_firms)

Revenue per employee is listed at the top: £40k is about $57k

So yes, they are worth that much. Though you could probably add about 30% to the cost per employee to take into account benefits.

Funny thing, is that when I was an business analyst at Accenture I was billed out at 5-11 times my take home pay which was around $80k. So I was definitely worth it to the company back then.
>>
>Are smart people in short supply?
extremely
>>
>>1104722
I would say they're fairly justified. Especially those in engineering or software engineering, mostly because they produce intellectual property which can be profited from (potentially) an unlimited/very high number of times. People who employ blue collar workers can only profit from their employee's work in a 1:1 fashion.

I'll start
>Father raised in the fields
>Had a knack for technical systems
>Got good at computers somehow
>Flunked highschool
>Decided to get what 'IT' educations that were available back then
>Get sales education
>Nice wage since Day 0 on the job market
>Busted his ass working
>Money ceases to be an issue
>Everything is good, get's 2 children (Me & bro)
>I live life in the luxurious spoiled brat lifestyle as a kid
>Travel around on all sorts of vacations with family
>He has expensive cars
>Economic crisis hits
>Suckerpunch in the dick of economy and income
>We 'degrade' into upper middle class
>I am raised to be independent as much as possible (Got a bike and phone early, had to get around myself. Got a job at 14)
>No trust fund
>All in all: Average middle class start, except I've learned how disappointing the 'luxirous lifestyle' is
