Is chart chasing a fool's errand?
Yes.

The small percentage of stock pickers and daytraders who are successful is almost entirely populated by chartists.

Yo I heard that Bitcoin will be worth $10,000 in 2020. How realistic do you think that is?

The company will have a lot of respect for the guts it took to interview naked.

Guns aren't ever going to go down, especially companies that sell to the Government.

I get how they shield you from paying taxes in your country of residence. You just do business through Your Cayman Company LTD and then is out from your jurisdiction.
But then, how do you make use of that money?
If you transfer it to your personal account, that's income and bam, you pay Income Tax. If you just leave it there in some obscure malaysian bank account named under some proxy person then ... well... does this really happens?
What guarantee do rich people have that they're not going to take their money away? After all, it's not under their name.
Frankly, if you cant figure it out or don't have an accountant to sort it out for you, you probably shouldn't be doing it.

Eat shit, frankly.

They won't be working soon after all countries execute OECDs Automatic Exchange of Information plan (AEoI). Google it. Offshores are done for in 21st century. Even big names like Apple, Google, Amazon are getting buttfucked.
Sure you can use a proxy person, but that person can run off with your money and can still get buttfucked for holding funds and not paying tax.
Are you on the right side of history? Google "td canada trust careers ethereum" if you think I'm bullshitting you.

History of what? 10 years from now all that will be remembered is that there was a funky coin called bitcoin which bubbled and then faded into non-existance and that banks pioneered blockchain technology. Altcoins like ethereum will be a footnote at the bottom of the page.
Ethereum holders, Do you purchase Ethereum to hold like a stock, or do you plan to spend it?
What do you use to buy and sell? bitfinex trading platform?
>>1108434
I'm planning on bagholding naturally.
poloniex for now. bitfinex should be adding it soon.
I hold some and day trade with some. it seems like a good long hold but you can also profit off the fluctuations. when The good DAPPs come out you can spend it on stuff
Ethereum is beginning to have very real momentum. Hard to say it's a good idea to short at this point. I'd just buy and hold long term.
is being able to save $600 a month at 18 with no debt a good place to be
>>1110263
are you still attending high school
>>1110265
no, i finished high school starting uni in a few days
>>1110263
Better than going in the negative 600 bucks a month. With the money management skills you have at such a young age, I'll bet you'll turn out fine.
How much money should I be putting away every month, bizbros? I figured out all my monthly expenses and the absolute maximum I could do would be about 24% of what I make a month.
>>1110132
10% out of every pay check. 20% of your monthly income.
As much as possible
At least 80% to die with dignity
50% to be comfortable
10-20% if you want to be a greeter at Walmart
>>1110132
>the absolute maximum I could do would be about 24% of what I make a month.
Bullshit. Are you living in a one room shack with 20 other people and sleeping in a sleeping bag? Are you showering at the YMCA and stealing your friends deodorant and toothpaste? Are you riding a bike everywhere? There's always, always more you can do.
I'm going to be doing a walkthrough at a local company and meeting with various Directors and Vice Presidents Of. It's not an interview per se. I'm not explicitly being offered a position in the organization. I was recommended as a soon-to-be graduate and things fell into place.
Do I need to wear a full suit?
Should I attempt to ingratiate myself or simply go in with the mindset of learning about the organization and industry and letting whatever impression I happen to make carry me forward? I just want to make sure I 'get something out of it.' To show up, walk around, hear some crap, and leave, never to be heard from again, would be a waste.
depends on what type of company it is. probably just wear khakis and a dress shirt and semi formal shoes, don't wear a 3 piece suit. Don't try to ingratiate yourself because it comes off as simpering and pathetic, but do try to subtlely steer the conversation. for example if it was a production engineer job you could mention equipment you've worked with or a related problem you solved in the past when they show you the factory floor, something like that that suggests competence. Don't just say your qualifications, if they want to know specific things, they'll ask
>>1110106
Keep your mouth shut and pay close attention. Don't ask any stupid ass questions.
>>1110115
They already have my resume. At least, I sent it to the person I know and then the walkthrough was arranged.
I just get so nervous about this stuff. It's hard for me to not think, "This will be my ONLY chance." And then I blow it by overthinking and missing an opportunity.
