Hey can u give me some advice on which of the following potential computer repair business names sound the best or least shit...
"your computer guy"
"control alt repair"
"your tech guy"
Is "Control alt repair" a good computer repair name for an I.T business? It seems catchy to me, but thats because I know what control alt delete is with I.T, but im worried it may not leave any clear impressions that im a PC repair company if a computer illiterate person heard that name. Appreciate your advice :)

Tbh most IT guys should worry less about business names and more about personal hygiene.

GoPro stock is way down. Apparently their last camera tanked.
Think they'll make a comeback, or are they a one trick pony on their way to beanie baby-ville?

>GoPro
One product
The one hit wonder of the stock market.
Once they start to introduce the 360-3d cam, they'll be ok. They bought Kolor after all.
Say hi to Furbie for me, GoPro

>tfw everything you put money into goes down immediately after and never goes back up

>>1143010
Short them instead.
problem solved
>>1143010
>he has the touch of the short
gifted to be honest
>>1143010
you need to understand that the mind of an amateur trader is easy to read. you know why the price goes down when you buy? because other amateur traders are also buying because they too think it's a perfect "opportunity to buy". and the big guys want to destroy you. don't think like an amateur trader. when you see the "perfect opportunity to buy" short instead.
Interested in what job everyone here has at the moment, what you guys are aiming for for the future and the worse job you've ever had?
I'm currently working for EE (UK mobile company who also owns orange and tmobile) its my only job and my aim is to work for Apple and try clime the ladder there. My father has a business and several houses he rents so I guess that's what I'll be at long term only hopefully with alot more. Interested to hear everyone's goals.
Currently working as a 2nd tier remote support engineer, looking to further into becoming a networking expert and start consulting for bigger firms and move out of the support space. Don't have any rental assets in my family so in looking to begin that legacy too even if it means I start off with investing together with my brother and building from there, currently in about 60k debt from studies and such but I know I am slowly sorting that out
>>1143008
Sounds good dude. Jesus 60k? Steep for studies, now I realise why so many students come to ireland and say it's cheap to study. What I was thinking about doing it getting a mortgage on a house and renting it, because at the moment rent is sky high yet house prices are very low
Software engineer for one of the big investment banks. Plan is to live frugally, save money, retire when I'm 40 into some 3rd world shit hole. If the world remains highly unchanged in the next 10 years, I will have made it.
Why is the import tax in the UK so high?
I literally can't import anything unless it takes 80% of my profit away
Bumparoni
>>1142936
I don't know, they tax the shit out of everything there.
I hear no one there really trades stock, as there's some stupid Bernie Sanders tax associated with it. So everyone trades CFD's, which are like fake stock, to get around the tax.
>>1143637
what, lol
Hey /biz/, heading soon to a refugee camp to help thoses poor souls, it's in the balkans- no more information, what are the best ways to make money out of this crisis? Give me your best (legit) ideas /biz/
Tell people you're taking a truck through to Germany/UK, and you'll offer rides for £100. Do this 20 times, boom, instant 2grand. Then run

So vix is a stock that goes to the moon at the end of every market cycle?
Is this right?
Yup, as per title; how much money you have, your assets, trust funds, shits like that
as for me,
>$150k in saving (I don't buy my own car so it does helped my saving, I think).
>2012 toyota tacoma. maybe $10k
>$30k worth of shares in Walmart.
>maybe $10k worth of stuff at my apartment (TV, computer and other electronic sets, sofa and other furniture, etc)
>dad has like, 30 acre of land, valued at appox. $10 million, not counting the resource on it (trees, precious metals and oil maybe). Me and my sibling aren't quite exited to sell them.yet
I have my phone and like $50 in my wallet. Also got a 30k scholarship renewable over 4 years. How do I get a part time job if no one has a hiring sign?
>>1142569
By the way, I worked as chain store floor manager (not walmart tho), made like 60k/yr (excluding extra hours, bonuses, etc)
>$750 saving
>$3,000 real estate (trailer)
>$150 misc
$3,900
>~$800,000 to inherit
yo /biz/ so currently I am a neet, its pretty decent but sometimes I get bored and I dont have much extra spending money for vacations and a car and shit.
Currently I have the opportunity to be trained and hired as a welder, it pays really good, like $35k per year. However I absolutely hate manual labor and would not fit in at all with my coworkers. However I would be able to get over that part, the part that worries me the most is the health risks. Welding creates toxic metal fumes that you can inhale which is super bad for your health. I would love the money, but my health is my #1 priority.
Any welders on here? Is it worth it? What other good jobs could I get as a NEET?
>>1142497
Why would you work if you don't have to?
Everyday is a vacation when not working!
>>1142521
I want to buy a sports car and go on cool vacations around the world
Ask for $60-$65000 and do it for a couple of years.
I happen to have an extremely rare and highly valuable skill in my field (mechanical engineering), however I have an absolutely shit GPA (2.67). How do I get an internship this summer?
I'm one of the only people in the industry capable of doing computerized topology optimization.
>>1142459
How are you dick sucking skills?
>>1142519
People who hire don't look for dick sucking skills in prospective employees. Employers are more concerned about how deep they can take it in their ass. In general circumstances, anything less than 8 inches is a no-go.
>>1142459
its not that rare. i can do it. i am the chief designer for the largest AM in Canada, trust me, if thats your only design skill than you should start working on your dick sucking skills
Is economics really that bad of a major? Everyone here seems to put it down here, so I want a unbiased answer from ACTUAL econ majors. Is it easy to find a job with a bachelors?or am i wasting my time with this? people who aren't economics majors fuck off or be nice and tell me why you didn't choose economics.
Also I really want to create my own small business, I don't want to be huge just moderate, so is this a good/bad choice?
I have a bachelors in econ it's hard but not too bad. started around 35k and now around 45k a year. I also want to start business. very interesting major.
>>1142369
because for everything you want to do finance or accounting is better.
>>1142385
Good to know, I'm glad you think it's interesting that's what I'm going for. Do you think the major has provided you with skills to start your own business?
Bag holder of Litecoin here to warn you ETH cucks. I have been holding this bag of litecoins since late 2013 when it rose to $50/coin. Now it's worth $3/coin. It's still gonna go up, right guys? Surely the same won't happen to ETH right?
