I just want to say $trxc is extremely undervalued right now. It will be correctly priced by the end of the day, and the time is now to make your sweet, sweet gains.

>somehow passed the CPA exam
>now have Bachelors in Accounting and CPA
>never had an Accounting job
>still feel like I have no fucking clue about anything Accounting related
Is this normal? I hardly even know how to do taxes and somehow I'm a CPA now.
can't you just use turbotax?
>>1200399
But if I'm a CPA, employers are going to expect me to know this shit. That's my point, I'm a CPA and I feel like I'm still clueless about accounting. I'm not totally familiar with how banking works, stocks, bonds, etc. I just studied and did okay for standardized tests but I have no real world knowledge to draw from.
>>1200392
Well you know everything except application, that's what job training is for. Start applying retard, you're about to make shitloads
How do you overcome the urge to buy expensive things /biz/?
I know the way to get rich is to drive a cheap toyota, pay down your mortgage asap and save/invest as much as humanly possible, but how do you silence that side that tells you to buy a bigger house, or buy a mercedes S class?
Basically I could be a millionaire in 10 years if I jew hard, but will it be worth it?
That's for you to decide. No one can answer it for you.
>>1206009
I think about how every dollar I spend today is 8 dollars I don't have when I retire 30 years from now. That 40k Mercedes is actually a 320k Mercedes.

Why do they push this college meme so hard? I would have been better off working at a fucking Gamestop straight out of High School.

You exist to be exploited now.
Did you do any internships

GXY - has a producing mine in Mt. Cattlin and a management with know-how for years now, had to shut the mine down since there was no interest for lithium in 2009-2012, but restarted it now in great supply shortage. has a lithium off-take agreement with mitsubishi, the production started two days ago. share price still massively undervalued. has a low-cost brine deposit in Sal de vida waiting for development.
My best choice for investment in the industry is GXY, they are the ONLY producing lithium company next to the "big five" (ALB, SQM, FMC, Tianqi, Ganfeng) with a shareprice that is massively undervalued and no debt in the company. Everybody else from the lithium junior developers are virtuals (companys with a research in their hand and a field infront of them).
GXY is a good investment, solid company, no debt, good experienced management with ties in china and year-long know-how in the industry, experience in the sector meaning they already did this for years now and most importantly they have a producing lithium mine which works and already produces, NO other company in that mkt.cap-range or SP has that. A bargain at the current price.
>How do I buy GXY
IF AUSSIE: GXY
IF BURGER: GALXF (Traded on OTC Market)
IF EURO: GXYA:F
>Can I Trade w/ Robinhood
NO. Only LARGE PROFESSIONAL brokerages trade. If you have to ask this question or any questions regarding how to trade OTC I recommend you go back to your memecoins
>Is this a Pump & Dump?!?!!
NO. GXY trades, on average, 8,000,000 shares on any given day with the previous weeks topping out at 15,000,000 shares. This is several millions of dollars worth on money being invested here.
>What is your price target
Assuming lithlium prices continue their unprecedented rise (up 50% for the year) and since GXY is actually mining then we expect to hit at least $2.50 which is their previous high
What did the market open up at lads? Won't know here until another 10 minutes.
About 10 minutes after open.
Surplus volume has moved through.
4 million volume off the bat.
Is the stock market a zero sum gain?
>no, holders get assets if the company defualts
Yeah no they dont get jack shit
There would be nobody on the stock market if there wasnt some idiot willing to buy shares off them for more money than they paid.
>>1203285
the more you play the more money that leaves the table
>>1203285
>In game theory and economic theory, a zero-sum game is a mathematical representation of a situation in which each participant's gain (or loss) of utility is exactly balanced by the losses (or gains) of the utility of the other participant(s).
Please explain hiw you feel this pertains to stocks and I will show you why you are wrong
>>1203285
>There would be nobody on the stock market if there wasnt some idiot willing to buy shares off them for more money than they paid.
the greater fool theory doesn't apply because companies appreciate in value. the real losers are the workers getting paid less than the value the generate for equity holders, in that sense it is zero sum.

i'm a neet now
I had a friend that literally begged me to buy them during the mining stage when they were going for pennys on the dollar.
I thought he was retarded but he had to have tens of thousands of them before they even hit a dollar.

They invest your unsettled funds after a trade.
It's also pretty basic software.
> When is it coming to my country?
Probably never. They only have plans on an Australian beta ( https://robinhood.com/au/).
> It's been X days, why isn't my account isn't verified yet?
If it takes more than 3 days, try emailing their support. They are very good.
> Is this the right place to pump and dump and/or shill a worthless stock?
No, please go to Stocktwits, Plebbit, or one of our many chat groups.
> What's a good penny stock to invest in?
Don't buy penny stocks you cum guzzling mouth breathing retard.
> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, am I being jewed?
No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.
> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
thinkorswim is bretty gud if you want to go open a second account with real broker.
Otherwise you should be using Yahoo/Google finance or even Stocktwits for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

I would like to summon the guy that start writing about cobalt, also the one that told us about GXY one year back.
>
Lithium is getting a lot of spotlight recently (even in /biz/ as I noticed), however it is not the only metal that is going to make headlines in 2016, one other metal, an extremly important part in the battery supply chain, regarding high-energy-density batteries necessary for EV and consumer electronics alike, is at a critical supply shortage as well, however this time producers are even more scarce. The metal is of course cobalt. The cathode material ESSENTIAL for the production of high-energy-density batteries (lithium being the anode), the one that power your consumer electronics (laptops, iPads, smartphones) and EV's like Tesla's cars for example. There is no other cathode other than the cobalt cathode capable of achieving those energy densities, thus making cobalt a material that just HAS TO BE AVAILABLE. Yes there are other cathodes like Fe-Phospohate (BYD batteries e.g.), however these have lesser energy densities, meaning that if you want make an electric car that will go further or a smartphone that will last longer, there is NO OTHER FEASIBLE WAY than the cobalt cathode (not even the high-voltage-spinel cathode some companies like NNO.V are proposing).
However only 6% of the world’s cobalt is produced as a primary mine product while 94% is produced as a by-product of nickel and copper mining. This means that because nickel and copper both trading at multi-year lows, mining companies are suspending operations at marginal nickel, copper and cobalt mines worldwide; and due to these mine closures, cobalt production is expected to fall in 2016 and remain at lower levels until nickel and copper demand recovers and mines return to production.., Samsung, and EV's like Tesla, Mitsubishi, Hyundai) will be the ones that will be hit the most.

What have you done to earn passive income? I am pretty good at automation / web scarping and so on. I previously wrote a algo trading bot that can trade on CFD-platforms all day long (something they normally prevent you from doing as they want you to trade manually), before that I wrote a script that plays any given strategy in online-poker automatically. Normally I would just go out to lectures and stay at the library studying while my machine at home does its stuff all day long. The profits weren't extreme but I still make passively about $100/week and its more of a learning-experience for me really.
I know that a while back there was a lot of talk on the internet about making money online, is there still a way for to make money by siting all day long and doing some boring task for marketing companies for example?, i.e. by clicking through ads or completing surveys? I can imagine that I can write a bot which can do that all day... also general thread: what have you done to earn passive income?
>>1191988
shit wrong pic, but never mind.
>>1191988
have one fully automated web app that makes $150 - $300 /month for years from PPC
have long text file with urls of interesting websites that have potential to be fully automated
currently working on system for discovering new high quality backlinks opportunities
>>1192021
is there a place where you could potentially keep answering surveys for 16 hours a day? I can imagine some unemployed people earning some bucks this way. It would be excellent for automation. A while back someone explained here on /biz/ how he ran a network of bot twitter accounts and making decent money that way. But I forgot what it was precisely he was doing.
Why don't more people choose to become medical doctors in the US? It's not even that hard to get into a low tier M.D. program (or even D.O.) and make a guaranteed $200,000+ after only 7 years out of college. Most other professions would only dream of advancing that quickly in their careers. You'd have to be in the top 1% of engineers or finance analysts to be able to pull that, whereas you are GUARANTEED that with an MD degree.
>Not to mention surgeons who can make $500,000+ annually with only a few extra years of training
>Not to mention that it's continually the most stable and secure job
>Not to mention it's basically the #1 panty dropper
because it doesn't interest me
>>1203541
Fair enough. But then again there are plenty of doctors who don't find their jobs terribly interesting, but they can tolerate it and do it well to earn tons of money. The notion that you have to absolutely LOVE your job is a fairy tale
>after 7 years of college
No respectable program will take you after 3 years of an undergraduate without insane extracurriculars (and a mandatory 4.0). Or you can go to some dumpster college in the Caribbean for four years for your MD, then spend four more years in residency making peanuts, then when you're fucking 30+ start making 110k for the first couple years and finally be making 200k by the time you're 35-40. Then you can work for twenty years, end up with ~1 million net worth after paying your loans off and taxes by retirement. Congrats, you made slightly more than a school teacher who invested wisely his whole life.

Thats not bilingual...
Being bilingual also means that you've been raised into 2 different cultures at the same time.
If you are french but you also speak spanish because you learnt at college or school you cannot say you're bilingual. Even if you dominate all languages perfectly.
This is not something relevant but people often use this term in a wrong way.

What's the point of investing if you aren't going to be rich until you're fucking 80 and your dick is falling off?
What's the point of being rich when happiness is internal?
>>1202438
Think of it like this. You'll be richer in your 50s than someone who worked harder and was a slave to the debt Jew.
At least you have some freedom by investing a decent portion of your income.
What's the point of being rich when you're still going to be 80 and have your dick fall off?
