Rolex is a Swiss based private held company. In other words: they're not obliged to disclose their financials. Sorry mate.
>>
>>1226522

Hmmm, yes I know. That's why I'm asking here. Too bad actually, would be rather interesting imho.
>>
>>1226539
So you're expecting either a

-CFO/member of the board of Rolex
-Shareholder of Rolex
-Employee of the Swiss tax authorities

to browse 4chan, and post these figures here for you?

Ask anon >>1226270 over here for some BTC. That's more likely.

Can someone help me figure out how the poloniex fees add up and end up affecting my trading?

I have a subhuman poverty peasant tier account, so the fees that apply to me are:

Fee: 0.15/0.25%

Now I don't completely understand... do they apply to both selling and buying? Sometimes sell/buy orders are split into several orders. Do the fees then apply to every order, or to the cumulative amount (or does it end up being the same? I'm no math wiz here).

And lastly, do the fees swallow a significant amount of profit if I trade too small of a price movement? Can it ever get to a point where a trade that is positive on paper, ends up being nonprofitable due to fees being larger than the price difference of my trade?

For example if I sell ETH at 0.02230, and later buy at 0.02183, that's a rather small price movement. Are the fees significant or can I yolo it up and consider them negligible?

How do I pass UK graduate job interviews? I've probably taken part in about 30 processes for internships and graduate roles since 2013 and failed all of them (though I have passed individual phone interviews).

Almost all questions are basic questions about the company or competency questions. I know about the STAR format for the latter. I think the only reason I may fail these is due to not being a normie. I've interviewed with companies in many industries (investment banks, public sector, engineering, and more) and it seems that every recruitment process desires glib normies who are above a low intelligence threshold and who were President of the Anything Society at university.

Do you have any advice for giving off the normie vibe? You may say stuff like "Be concise, structure your answers and so on" but I know literally all of that.

>>
>>1226386
Civil servant here. Recently successfully got a promotion. STAR format is one thing, but they're also testing you at competencies such as leadership. The civil service ones are here
>https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/civil-service-competency-framework
Try and meet the effective indicators under EO/HEO/SEO (junior-middle management) for the key ones applicable to the area you're applying. Leadership and communication always. Delivering at pace too. Get a peer review of your answers and ALWAYS be super enthusiastic.
>>
>>1226393

I interviewed for a similar graduate role as a civil servant and the application process was clearly an exaggerated version of what I described. The numerical test was designed for 12 year olds (as opposed to 16 year olds for most other companies) and the entire interview was like an HR parody

There are many books on the subject, but from everyday negotiations to business negotiations which books do you think helps most?

You have to start from somewhere, so which books to read in what order?

Are you asian? I only ask because I can only conceive an asian asking for an ordered list of reading material on the art of negotiation.

Anyway, just practice negotiating. If you like you could start by trying to get better prices on the things you buy in stores.
>>
>>1226388
Nah. As I read on some reviews, some books goes in to detailed real life examples on social encounters and some give various business principles etc. I asked an order because it may help to have a better understanding of the subject.

Which is the best to learn how to track expenses and earnings?

>I'm an army IT guy
>Top secret clearance, couple of IT certs (Sec+, Net+, CCNA)
>Switching to National Guard so I can maintain my clearance and healthcare

Now I plan on going to college in the fall since I'll be out. I was considering majoring in Electrical Engineering, since IT is oversaturated and supposedly outsourced majorly.

Then I get on here and everyone says engineering is a waste of time for the same reason.

What do I major in? I just want a comfy 80-90k job

You could do contracting with places like Raytheon or some junk. If you got a TS you can do a lot of lucrative stuff.

Source: father has done a bunch of private contracting with different companies for the Army and DoD. Can make a fuckton if you got the right credentials or contract.

This. Lots of F500 businesses looking for this skill set; major in some form of computer science, engineering or networking, get an undergrad degree, and get a job that pays 6 figures straight out of school.

Doubtful. Just study behavioral interviewing in general, and make sure you know what answers your interviewers are looking for based on BI principles; study up on the firm if you're looking for something to do in your down time.

Last month I bought a couple of stocks with low price to book ratios, low price to cash flows, current ratios > 2.0, ROE > 20% and EPS growth > 20%, and just today I find out my portfolio dipped -13.5% since last month...
16 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>Last month
There's your answer. Is the company valuable at its core? If so then think of this as "You can buy even more now at a 13.5% discount." Sure, you bought some before the "sale" and that kind of stinks in a way but it's water under the bridge at this point.

Hi /biz/!

Anyone of you got good tips/advice?
Currently im using metatrader4 with some templates, economy news and also tried to get a feeling for the charts for a week now and i thinks is working good.
But what should i do more? What to do to get more safe(r) trades and maximize my profit?

Thanks for advice!

It isn't safe OP. It's not going to be. You could use hedging via synthetic options to lock in profits, but that relies on being able to borrow endlessly at basically 0% interests. Which you can't do.

Is forex a meme?

With $100,000 of capital, what kind of returns could I expect to see if I studied trading for a year or two?
7 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Statistically, virtually everyone loses money with Forex

It is an investing vehicle that individuals with low capital and knowledge, are at such a significant disadvantage, that it would almost appear rigged to an observer

Expect to lose around 10% your first 60 days
>>
You're thinking about it the wrong way.

It's one of those situations where it isn't the spoon that bends.

Practice for two years, and whatever returns you're capable of at that point is what you can expect to see, kinda.

ForEx is very headline driven and most of the giant moves are nearly instantaneous and totally unforeseeable. See the recent bank of japan shenanigans for example.

Think of it like working on commission. You can't precisely predict what next month's paycheck will be but if you're good at what you're doing then it should be enough to live on.

Start practicing today.

depends what you're doing - short term trading in highly liquid products and big name stocks - sure they're all very efficiently at least in terms of their short term intraday movements relative to each other

buy and hold, value investing etc.. on the other hand - nope... the market is erratic some stocks gaining and losing double digit percentages based on hope, fear, subjective predictions of future decisions of governments and central banks etc..while the underlying business itself is unchanged. Even more so for some smaller and mid size stocks too small for a lot of larger funds to bother with.
