Notice how Youtube has become more prolific with "recommended videos" and automatically loading "sponsored videos" once the one you're watching has ended?

They know that they're just running a pyramid scheme. They know that the only way anyone would watch even a quarter of the videos by their sponsors is if they put it absolutely-fucking-everywhere and make it where youtube will mostly gravitate users toward it.

This is true from angry joe to pewdiepie. They cannot thrive in an environment where all content is equal, so they let youtube have a cut of their profit to gravitate views toward them.

This is my youtube front page right now. I'm not logged in, and I have every privacy addon in the world enabled. This was in a sandboxed instance.

I can't think of a single person who would willingly click even half of those videos.

Youtube is a shithole and I can't wait until the next big thing overtakes it.

The series of investing was quite good, I learned more in the first 4 videos than after 4 years doing economics in college.
