As most of you probably know, oil has been an absolute mess lately. How long can OPEC keep this up? Are they losing control? What is the breaking point? What are your predictions, /biz/?
>$43 WTI is bad
There's no fucking way to convince businesses oil is worth $100, oil is fucked until the abram tanks delivered to Houston begin operation mejican freedom. Screen capture this.
>>1238734
My prediction is basically that current prices aren't as low as the dire things everyone is saying and that it is impossible to predict where prices are headed. Like how the Canadian fires didn't really change the oil price on Monday. It makes no sense.
I can say that no matter all the stuff about alternative energy and climate change is that we are so dependent on oil that it isn't even funny. God damn toothpaste is made out of it!
Need job advice.
.I have the opportunity to take a sales job for an internet startup on the west coast.
It has about 500 or so clients now in socal area.
It's a medical find a doctor manage negative yelp reviews kind of app.
I'd be selling it to doctors dentists etc.
It's cold calling. 100-200 calls per day.
Base pay of 2k per month plus commission.
Bosses said I should be making between 35-50k per year after a few months.
I'm unemployed right now and trying to move out west IF I can get a good job.
Does this type of sales job sound worth it?
I've worked in a call center before so I know I can handle the volume of calls.

Anyone whos some what intelligent can see that the stock market is clearly rigged.
What are some ways you can forsee the past the biased news articles, false information, and market manipulation and invest in something that would work in your favor.
>>1238574
Agreed. That's why for the last few years I've only been actively trading the pepe-coin market.
>>1238574
>would work in your favor.
Well if you think it clearly rigged then I guess you have to do your own IPO.
>>1238578
Not just pump and dumps but getting people to buy a stock only for the purpose of liquidating. Numbers dont lie but cash can change numbers.
What are some ways to lie on your resume such that you won't end up in a situation like this?
>>1238470
buy some "forgive me, boss" knee pads and get to work
>>1238470
Just be smart and figure it out or be fired
>>1238470
Lie about your experience in a field that is easy to learn w/ no professional training.
Research the industry and terminology...
After all this is done, you're basically qualified for the job anyway.
What did you get on your GMAT /biz? 720 master race reporting.
>>1238425
I got a 721 and am a 6'4" chef at Wendy's with a 8 inch penis and make 150k a year.
6'4" only making 150K? Learn to negotiate brah
>>1238435

>want to live in a condo in the city
>also want to live on a ranch with a bunch of farm animals and birds as pets, take my boat out whenever i want, enjoy the view of the mountains
idk what to do guys i'll regret either choice
>>1238404
The second option. Urban life is shit.
While you're young and need to slam poon: city.
Once you're tired of that: farm/rural life.
>>1238404
Do both.
I live at home and have a fulltime job that pays pretty well. I save easily 1500 dollars a month by living at home, and i literally get to trade as if i were playing a video game. If i lose all 1500 bucks one month, fuck it, i start up with 1500 bucks next month. Im doing pretty well, making little trades on RH, soaking up the glow of the 0% jewmission. Life is guuuuuude....

So anons do you bet on politics? I think I will since I am obsessed with it.
Whether you like the man or not Donald Trump will be the next American president, I'm putting my money on him. Which horse are you putting your money on?
Also do your political beliefs effect who you will bet on?
I've been looking at predict it as my main site, since it isn't actually an online casino.
>>1238200
>Also do your political beliefs effect who you will bet on?
Fuck no. Thats called emotional investing and it is not wise. Just because you like Trump doesn't mean he will win. Shit I hate Hillary and even I know she is a shoe-in.
>>1238223
Good thinking my man, you are right on the money, emotional investment would not be wise, especially in an emotional topic such as politics.
Who do you think will win?
I'm probably gonna bet on Hillary.
I'm not in USA and i don't really give a fuck who wins, i just think hillary will
BUY OILSANDS
GONNA BOUNCE BACK UP BY NEXT WEEK.
how can i do this
Oil sands are the shittiest oil you can buy you can never get all the sand out of it so run to your pumps breaking most year equipment no one wants to buy it even one oil was $100 a barrel it sold for 50 no refinery in the right mind is going to buy oil sands when there's a plethora of better oil on the market for much cheaper than what they can pull out of the ground
>>1238232
>one wants to buy it
Thats why Canada is the United States largest supplier of oil.
Hey /biz/ bros, can somebody tell me how to get into stocks?I have like 600 in my bank account (I'm still in high school leave me alone) and would like to make some passive income or just sell stock when it becomes higher in value. What are some good places to get some info and dip my feet in?
pic unrelated
Stocks aren't for making money. They are for keeping your money.
If you want to make money you start moving actual goods.
if you've made $600 in 2016, open a roth IRA at vanguard and invest in a mutual fund.
If not, find a discount online broker and buy all the shares of MO you can afford and hold them for a long time.

2 extra years of school for a $140,000+ starting salary? it's not a meme.
just do well on the GMAT
Lol no. I know a lot of people with mbas, it's no magic bullet. For most people, it's not an advisable direction.
>>1237947
>just do well on the gmat
lol
MBA is literally all about soft skills and being sociable, and networking, things this board generally lacks
>>1237956
if you get an MBA from skidmark U. yeah it will be pretty much worthless. but if you get one from a top 20 school, there are companies who use these schools for recruitment who will throw a lot of money your way.
How am I supposed to have the motivation to work hard all day when it's such a beautiful and sunny day outside?
>>1237468
UK?
Who said you're suppose to work?
Personally I'm a NEET and I've never worked in my life. Doesn't stop me from writing some bullshit motivational stuff and investing advice on /biz/ tho.
>>1237470
Gotta do your part to ensure more wageslaves enter the workforce to pay for our ever rising NEETbucks brother. Doing gods work.
Students 32%
Student who work 21%
Low paying job 16%
High paying job 21%
NEET 8%
so it looks like most of us our students and only a minority are NEET
>>1237377
High paying job is more like 1%, add the rest to NEET.
>>1237377
What does Lowpaying vs Highpaying mean?
I'm starting my first post-college career in July and it pays 40k. It's at a top investment firm, so I don't think I'd call it a shitty job, but at hte same time it's not high paying.
Should include specific ranges and a middle range.
>>1237416
i realize i messed up and shouldve put >100k and <100k
Hello /biz/. I was just wondering if there are any jobs that pay over 80k a year that any loser like me can get.
Nope, if a loser could get the job then it would be overfilled and the salary driven down from too much supply.
$80k/yr is over the median salary
>>1237353
Yeah come to aus and get a forklift ticket and job in warehouse and get 90k p/y for moving crates
