this is probably not the exact board for this but still it's the closest

i live in the third world, in some country that restricts foreign currency transactions, which means the only way i can buy/sell local currency is through the black market

i found a programming job in which some people are going to pay me some us dollars, and i need a way to put that money to my name. i don't need local currency right now to just having it to my name and being able to eventually change it to local currency (eventually here means i can wait many months before until i come up with something) is good enough for me right now. i'm thinking about using paypal but i worry that my potential employers might do something weird like ask paypal for a refund after they pay me.. so what would be the best way to protect myself from that?

also tips on living in a hyperinflationary economy with foreign currency restrictions would be great, if any come to mind

Where do you live that restricts foreign currency transactions, because the only country I've heard of doing this is north korea. OP are you from the NK?

I recall recently reading he's only right like 45% of the time.

That's pretty fucking good when it comes to trading. If you use stops correctly, even being right 10% of the time is good enough to make some decent money.

>Uhh I'll start a pressure washing business for bikes
>Uhh I'll make a $.99 cent iphone app that helps you find bricks but it will cost thousands to develop so I'll have to sell thousands of units without any marketing experience duuh

The ideas on this board are a nightmare. I HATE posting on biz, but these threads are getting to fucking annoying.

>Choose a high price point
This tip alone will make you have less retarted ideas. As a general rule, thing's that are a low price point, are only done by companies who have a ton of money and leverage. You want to make a $.99 cent app? You don't have the resources or leverage to have that make money. Instead, how about making an app for $99 bucks a month for local small businesses? THEN you have to focus on really adding value. Plus, it will take less customers to validate the idea. Since 3 could potentially pay for the whole thing.

>Get experience in a field first
It's almost impossible to make something valuable without having built a career over a series of years in one specific field. (Some people do it, but for autists like you and I, we actually need experience) Working in a field is the best possible way to get ideas for inventions / start-ups / softeware. Because you will daily see problems, and you will daily think of solutions. Plus since you'll get an idea of budgets in your field, you'll get a good idea of what you can actually charge realistically.

>Build leverage first
95% of launches and successes are done because an inventor had LEVERAGE. What is leverage? think of it like building something up, that you can cash in later.

Examples -
• an email list of people to sell to
• a large following on social media (of people to sell to)
• a ton of business contacts
• A ton of testimonials (of people in your field who prospective customers would trust)
• Access to certain software (that would help you build/market/sell your tool
• Access to certain events (that help you promote your product)

RECAP:

• You've built a solid career in a field
• You've seen a need
• You've prototyped a product / software with a high price point
THEN
• You leverage your existing connections etc to get people to buy it

BAM. People either buy it and you scale, or they don't and you fail (and try again later)

So there ya go.

"Voxelus is a platform that allows anyone, anywhere to create, share and play virtual reality games and experiences without writing a single line of code. Voxelus includes a bundle of free assets that you can use to design with more content coming out every week.

Voxelus also features a stand-alone player app that plays the content created with the desktop tool on your PC, with or without Oculus Rift and on the Samsung Gear VR. We have support for real time multiplayer.

The asset library can be expanded by purchasing content from designers all around the world in the Voxelus Marketplace, an online 3D asset store where users can upload 3D assets that are curated and compatible with the voxelus platform. To operate in the Marketplace users need Voxels, the official currency of VR and the only form of money used inside the Voxelus Platform."

hey guys,

so I'm new to stock trading and have noticed a lot of hype surrounding CERU here. Because of this, I went over to yahoo finance to check it out and noticed that CERU's p/e was negative. Doesn't this mean that the company is having net loss? If so, how is the stock profitable? Any and all comments would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Hi welcome to Biz. First things first on penny stocks dont look at Fundamentals you'll never make money. Their penny stocks for a reason.Second dont buy into the stocks you see on Biz without doing your own research and coming to your own conclusion. Most of them are Meme stocks, IE pump and Dumps.

No drugs have been approved for ceru.
Drugs are being tested by ceru.
You must wait for the drugs to be approved before they make money.
More risk, more reward.
