Hi there /biz
I'm looking to create some custom trading cards for resale. Not worried that anyone will "steal" my "idea" since you're all a bunch of lazy, autistic teenagers.
I'm thinking cards of celebrities, sports stars, politicians -- whoever.
Have several areas of concern:
1. Design. I'm a mediocre Photoshopper, so the backgrounds arent a huge issue. But I'm worried that when I shoop out the Nike logo (dont wanna get sued!) on Ben Simmons's shorts, for example, that it'll look janky.
2. Pricing: You know that econ101 concept where the same wine is actually *more* likely to sell at $100 than $50, because the buyer derives value from feeling like they spent a nice amount? I feel like that kinda applies here. I feel like pricing these cards at $14.99 instead of $4.99 will help buyers feel like they’re getting the best Ben Simmons rookie card for their bratty kid.
3. Serial numbers: How do I print those gold serial numbers myself (like on the back of Topps cards)? You know, the ones that go 1/10, 2/10, 3/10, etc. Was thinking of using a transparent label maker, but that will look cheap af.
Give me some free advice. Who knows maybe I’ll send you some Bitcoins if your advice doesnt suck
And yes I am serious about giving out Bitcoins

Expert photoshopper here. There's a tool specifically designed for this sort of thing and I'm pretty great at it. I use it to shoop the bikinis off of anime girls, so removing something small like a logo is no problem. I can offer my services for a fee.
Whats are the most valuabe hard assets?
>>1253102
Probably land.
>>1253102
obviously that would be gold.
>>1253102
Antimatter.
At ~25 Billion Dollars per gram, you can't get more expensive than that.
What do you think you owe your parents?
I don't owe them anything. I told them tonight by the time I'm 30 I will take every single penny they've earned from them for treating me how they did for 20 years.
I will not help them at all and the moment I'm finished college they are dead to me, I will never speak or have anything to do with my family the day I graduate, I'll never ever speak to them after that day. Tbh
What exactly did they do young edgemaster?

Shut the fuck up you little suburban shit
>>1252931
Yea, I was angry at my parents for a while too. Then I grew up and paid their rent instead of watching them go homeless. Be a bigger person anon. They probably had shitty parents too.
Has anybody here made a career change? What did you do before, and what did start doing? Did everything work out?

People who play video games in their 20s and beyond are literally losers.
I made a thread on /v/ asking them just that. Why do they care about video games so well into their 20s? Aren't there more productive things?
The answers I got were them admitting being losers, it's escapism, they don't care and nothing matters in life anyway so why try (they're losers and it's escapism), it was either video games or drugs, etc.

Thats quite a lot, considering the GDP of Europe and the United States combined is 40 trillion.
If only we had realized le jewish banking man was real.
>>1252830
The total value of everything currently owned on earth is only about 250 trillion. I didn't know he owned mars too.

Hey /biz/How can I get on the Bittycoin train or is their no chance or being part of the Bitcoin meme
I want to be part of it but can't because I find it hard to trust the whole Bitcoin thing I mean I can't honestly find a good way to buy Bitcoins or Mine Bitcoins and make any profit I mean it be like buying Gold right now, But the good thing about buying Gold is I really don't have to worry about getting scammed with Gold I know how to tell if its real or not and most of the places I could go buy gold at local are legit places.
Even if I was to wanna buy Bitcoins when its low I still have to give my photo id and my credit card and bank account.
Sure buy bitcoin local sounds good but their again most people local take moneygram or something like that not a face to face transaction.
>wants to buy bitcoin
>finds it hard to trust bitcoin
JUST DO IT FAGGOT
>>1252613
I don't own a bank account or credit card that will work with coinbase... so where else FAGGOT.
I didn't mean to upload my Bitcoin address either was the wrong screen shot..
>>1252628
You have a dollar!
>tfw only get a 0.5% interest rate on my pathetic savings account
Its going to be like this forever isn't it /biz/? To make money you need money. And only rich people can live like NEETs on a 0.5% annual return if they started with $10,000,000
>>1252485
are you saying there is no other available account for you to put your savings? are you saying your country has no market for gold/silver/any precious rocks?
>not trying shit

gamble and learn from your mistakes
anyone trying to sell you a book or video is doing 1 of 2 things
1. shilling for someone else and has no interest in if you'll make it or not
2. doing thee exact same shit you could do for free with a little effort.

Lurking here already seems to give me some sort of hunger/high that makes me want to figure it all out.
I don't have any money to start so I'm using a practice account for the meantime until I can get some actual money into it.
Hey /biz/, I know I shouldn't trust 4chan but google isn't giving me the kind of information I want.
I got a mysterious ACH credit deposit on my navy federal account last month totaling a bit more than $400.
I'm not certain where this money came from, or if it's actually "mine" to spend.
I can think of a single reason for me to receive this money, but I don't want to be spending it until I can confirm.
I was in BMT for a couple of weeks before I got kicked out for a bullshit reason ( no it wasn't drugs ), so that might be the source of the money if they finally got around to paying me for my time. But does the Air Force deposit money in that manner?
I asked one of my parents if they accidentally deposited it there but they answered they did not.
I'm incredibly confused. I want to spend the money but not enough it's worth getting into legal trouble over.
>>1252361
They still pay you for bootcamp even if you get kicked out. If you get kicked out for fraud they will take half your pay though.
>>1252361
I can actually help you here, you wouldn't happen to be in the Air force base at lackland right? I got out few months back in bmt as well.
Because if so OP you are fucking retarded as that was clearly made apparent in the BMTSG you god damn water boy. Like it spells it out you get 400 for supplies and room stuff. It's yours.
Hope I helped you out and please learn good study habits.
>>1252386
>Because if so OP you are fucking retarded as that was clearly made apparent in the BMTSG you god damn water boy.
When I say a few weeks I REALLY mean only a couple.
Literally, week 1 day 1. 0 week was so shit and it was finally getting better, too.
Thanks though.
Did China ever wind up launching the gold-backed Yuan, or did that turn out to be BS?
china bump
I usually only answer flat chested 2hus, but I'll make an exception. It was mostly a meme. They are trying to control the price, but it wasn't the economic warfare that the gold faggots were pumping it as. http://www.reuters.com/article/china-gold-fix-idUSL3N17G1Z5
They certainly aren't retarded enough to give up fiat. Only scam sites and blogs say otherwise.
>>1252336
Is this what you're talking about?
I saw a thread on /pol/ about it. They thought China were moving to a gold standard-which is not the case.
So I was buying some stuff on Amazon and I got offered a 50$ gift card if I signed up for this Rewards Card. Anyone know about this? It seems too good to be true. I live in Denmark and I'm unfamilliar with American credit/debt culture but it seems a little different than what is the norm in my country. Can someone explain the card to me?
I was thinking I would sign up for the card, collect the 50$ and never use the rewards card, but I don't know if I'm screwing myself over somehow.
It says no annual fee but then there's a lot about interests on purchases. Thing is, I'm used to just pay the money whenever I make a transaction. I'm not used to credit/paying later.
I recommend reading a little bit about credit cards in general, and checking out what types of cards are out there, there's a couple different types like, reward cards (where you gain points for spending and can redeem them for product/travel/etc), or cash back cards ( where you get a percent of spending back as cash). It's great if you wanna get a credit card and it is a great way to start building credit score. The main thing is... Don't spend what ya don't have. I put pretty much everything on my credit card... But I pay it off every month. I don't carry a balance. Check out the interest rates, if you are carrying a balance on the card they are going to expect you to pay it back plus interest. Again don't spend what you don't have...
I use the visa signature rewards card, FYI.
Also if you open one, don't cold it right away, that can affect your credit score negatively, again google this shit anon.

Close it, god damnit, I meant don't close it right away
