So, he just makes a program saying if the price increase of oil was over .5% yesterday, buy, XYZ and sell at this time or when X happens.

There are also times where it happens in miliseconds. e.g. For some reason whenever Yen goes up whenever USD goes down, so, if USD goes down within the last 2 seconds, buy, Yen.

The problem is that the halving in 5 weeks is making idiots buy in now, thinking there'll be more upswing on that date. The halving is already worked into the current price though, as its a secret to no one.

When the halving comes up, the price will nosedive. Miners now need to sell twice as many coins to turn a profit while half as many come in, and panic selling will become the new life of the coin as all who bought in over 500 usd scream out as the day after the halving sees btc drop by 25% minimum.

Basically

1) What should someone in the US do, financial-wise, once he or she is 18? What should I focus on? what should I avoid?

2) I can have my parents finance my community college, but from then I'm on my own. I assume going to college for politics or history is a waste when my family does not have money, is IT a viable option? I'm 'tech-savvy' compared to others just only to the point of knowing my way around my OS and being able to torrent,

3)I feel overwhelmed right now thinking about all this. I don't really have the best mental health, and I'm off drugs except for weed (WHICH I NEED TO STOP) and that hasn't helped my mental health at all either. I have trouble setting attainable goals and meeting them. I also have a lot of problems with ambition and finding the drive to do what I should. So basically I'm a lazy shit. Are there any books you guys can recommend on this topic?

sounds like you need direction. I'm biased but trade school has been good to me because you actually learn how to fix or build shit on a daily basis. Typically the bar isn't too high to get into them either, as long as there's demand. It's good for other reasons too.

you're also really young and good cashflow is important if you want to make your money work for you eventually. you can have a journeyman ticket at 22 and then go to school if you want to. nice path into engineering/business/marketing

Well, it's a good question. I think not all wages have been stagnant. I know tech salaries have gone way up since even 5 years ago, especially in the tech hubs in the US.

Rents in these areas are just following what the market can support.

Plus, I think we're also seeing consequences of inflation. As we know, rents generally track inflation, so an increase there will put upward pressure on rents.

Because it cost dickloads to build new apartment buildings, and idiot wannabe kikes speculate on real estate and drive the cost up to 1000% what it's really worth.
