>be me, SWM
>looking for a job

>"We are an EOE..."
Yeah, I hate eosinophilic esophagitis too.

>bumping your own shitpost to prevent it from archiving
That's really pathetic, anon.
/biz/ movies
I'll dump a few to get the thread going, I'm kinda tempted to don't post glengarry glen ross and boiler room because I don't consider salesmen worthy of /biz/ but I'll make an exception for the /biz/ meme movie:
>pic related
>21
>live at home
>have some IT qualifications but never went to university
>hoping around minimum wage jobs with shit contracts
>even when working 40 hour weeks I have no hope of being independent and having my own place or car
>never get call backs for anything better
>currently can't get any interviews at all
>want to an hero
How do I get out of this?
>>1294332
Law enforcement.

Get a girl to support you until you get some shit together
I never learned how to do the green text.
But I'm in the same boat with a Finance degree at 23. Gotta just try the temp agencies. I hate those fuckers, you can go to 15 of them and only hear from 1 of them ever again. But sometimes... just sometimes... it leads to something, at least better than nothing, I like to attribute my failures to the fact that I got arrested for dui in 2013 and spent all of last year going back and forth to court.
Binary optionds general.
Do you recommend binary options? How much experience do you have with it? Have you lost or made a profit?

Scam

>>1294082
Not really, both.
It can be kind of safe through technical analysis or trend riding/news surfing but nigga it just ain't worth it in the long run IMO, it's true that you can make an insane ammount of money in one day but in just one turn you can lose everything. It's an all or nothing situation, big risk and big wins and it is the closest thing to 'betting' in the stock market.
Who /justwanttosupportthemselves/?
>recent finance grad from private business school w/2 internships one international
>only want 30k/year even though live in the expensive northeast US
>want to minimize fake work relationships as much as possible, no passion to climb ladder.
>want to move out of parents house ASAP (they are useless and give no advice)
>all my savings are in bitcoin/bitcoin passive income ($1.8k)
I'll take anything outside of the industry, is tollbooth operating hard to get? Is book keeping tough? I don't care about prestige. Point a confused lad in the right direction please. I'm afraid of becoming a NEET because the path I'm expected to take is depressing as hell.
>>1294053
Why the fuck did you major in finance if you wanted an easy job?
Just get a fulltime job in a warehouse or something, $30k/yr+ especially if you become a manager or something
>>1294053
Where do you live? How about a warehouse logistician/ supply chain manager?
Try and get a union job. You can fuck off and it will be hard as shit to get fired.
How does one apply for a credit card? Is there a "best" credit card? Is this is only way to build credit?
>>1293976
>How does one apply for a credit card?
You submit an application form.
>Is there a "best" credit card?
No but they have different features and requirements, google it to read more.
>is this is only way to build credit?
you build credit by using credit and paying it off on time, as well as many other things that go into account when caluclating your credit score.
>>1293978
And the only way I'd be fucking myself is if I maxed it out, and didn't pay it back?
>>1293980
Thats all there is to it
Hey, newfag to biz.
I want to invest in stocks and shit, what do I watch to learn how (or tell me yourselves if it's that easy) and what do I invest in?
Thanks
>>1293832
bump
>>1293832
Don't do it
Save up $1000 and open an account with a broker.
>>1293880
Can you explain why?
Did anyone else keep living at home once they got a job to save up a shit load of money?
I have more than enough to live comfortably now (~950/week starting after tax) but want to save like 100K as fast as possible to invest with.
Is this just me being a manchild who doesn't wanna move out of what? Thoughts?
Yes you are being a manchild.
You will mature so much in your first years if independence.
After a few weeks the idea of going home will feel like hell.
>>1293755
You're not a manchild, you're just being smart in your enviroment, it's not 1970 anymore, in most cities you just wont be able to live by yourself while building a small fortune in you're 20s.
Just domt be a dick, try to cover your (hopefully) moderate expenses and be grateful to your parents (they will be grateful to you in their retirement years).
>>1293755
i did the opposite: i moved out before i got a job
What are some successful people with interesting lifestyles that inspire you?
>>1293382
Not that sociopathic piece of shit, that's for sure
>>1293382
Probably Zyzz or Greg Plitt or some shit
Looks like they genuinely had a lot of fun, idk though I don't really want to be like anyone else. I want to be unique
Tom Leykis.
What the FUCK is going on with oil? Stocks are up 15% in the last 3 days. Pic related, tempted to sell it and buy back when it goes back down.
>>1293352
hmm. i might Do the same with SDRL. any reason why this is happening?
Canada has oil shortages in places, would that do it?
you're stupid as fuck and you're going to lose all your money
What's the best way to do extreme couponing if you live in Canada?
not doing it all, it's fucking retarded
This is like for people who make sure to shower and brush their teeth in the dark to "save money" but then spend hundreds on other shit.
Or the ones who scour through the newspaper looking for savings of $50 for 10 hours
Get a second job and work the hours you would be spending couponing. Spend no more than a half hour a week going through whatever coupons come in the mail and use those. Only use coupons for products you were going to buy anyway.
>>1293644
This.
Fucking retards tryign to pennypinch instead of just working harder, fuck you
I'll be working all the major night shifts.
>>1292322
Your in for strippers coming outside on their smoke breaks and talking to you while you getting paid my nigga
>>1292322
you are in for parking cars for lonely men. what city are you in?
>>1292322
Sounds like an opportunity, you'll meet a lot of people.
Sell drugs as a side business, don't get caught.
Is better to keep pursuing money and status if you're from a really poor household and not bother much with women ?
>>1292132
Yes.
if you have to ask /biz/ that question, then you are already going down the wrong path.
>>1292134
>tfw at 20 but don't want to be a wizard.
>>1292135
10 more years anon, u can make it!
i heard the powers are great!
The conditions of my admission stipulated I can't declare an Engineering major, so what else is there? I'm thinking either chemistry, physics, or finance.
>>1291302
The only "/biz/ approved" careers are daytrading, forex, or buying and selling trumpcoin, pepecoin and ethereum
>>1291308
kek
>>1291302
>barred from studying engineering

>wife nagging at me for playing video games all the time, says it's for kids and not adults
>make 40k a year and she complains it's not enough if we want to have a kid one day even though she doesn't work at all
>with me at all times, no freedom
How do I make more money bros? I don't want a second job but the one I'm in is a dead end and I need at least 60k a year if I want to ever have a kid of my own and actually own a home.
>>1291095
Tell your shitty wife to get a job, even if its minimum wage. Idk why you let her sit at home and not contribute.
>>1291101
if we have a kid I'm gonna need her a home anyways. I just need a wayvto increase my income by a little bit.
perhaps stocks or renting a property? Whats an easy guaranteed 20k side job?
Your wife sounds like my ex. I think you're a huge cuck and should file for divorce as soon as possible. This bitch will be the end of your finances
