Hey /biz/, I need your fabulous minds,
So I've got this /biz/niz idea that's really not original or anything, but I need your help.
The idea is to either ship items that are typical for my country in a box, boxes go from small/medium/large, or to get a monthly box subscription thing going, with the same idea.
The first one would require less effort (just offer the same items), last one could be more profit, but I might run out of items after a while, probably somewhat soon.
Questions:
- Which of the ideas would be better? I'm gravitating towards the first to be honest
- What would a good domain name be? I was thinking Hollandinabox, but that's taken, but Dutchbox or anything just sounds dumb and holland-in-a-box looks somewhat unprofessional, but that might actually be my best bet.
- Dutchbox already exists, but offers food exclusively. There's also a site that offers food AND other stuff, but that site is only in Dutch, which I think negates the market you actually want to reach (Americaland etc). Or am I totally wrong here?
- Anything else I'm missing?

24y/o living with parents. Currently on my last semester in uni and have a small job making ~4k/mo. Currently, my family is undergoing some shit regarding our rent payments. Our monthly payment is $550 but my father, who recieves roughly $900/mo because he is autistic and doesn't want to work, has only been paying $175/mo for the past 12+ months so we currently owe our landlord 6k+. Basically they said they will no longer accept any payment other than the full rent payment per month and if we dont make them, we get evicted. Thing is, my father is an arrogant piece of shit and i wouldnt mind finding a place and living without him. Thing that terrifies me is that this will fuck up my credit history. The fuck am i supposed to do?

No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

Starting new thread cause I can't find this shit anywhere else.
Is it normal to be charged $19.95 per trade in Australia? I'm using westpac online investing and see that commsec is charging the same per trade but doesn't that seem extremely high for people who only have $1000-5000 to invest with? obviously if you hold and triple your investment this would be nothing but for those people who buy and sell within a couple of days to make 5-10% profit that takes a big chunk out of whatever you have made.
I have never bought or sold shares in the past so I've also come here for help/understanding.

Unfortunately, accounts that size are more of a pain than than they're worth to a brokerage.
You could try telling them you want a cheaper rate; they might actually do it (for 3-6 months or so) just in case you might trade more.
Other than that, a larger pile of capital is really all that will bring the numbers down.

Yes, it would be out of the ordinary to put 100% in one trade. Although if you have a decent brokerage, you could buy 10K worth of equities with $2,500.
The problem (for you) is that the brokerages you're dealing with are designed for investors, not traders. A trader wouldn't pay $20 per, but they wouldn't use your brokerage, either.
