How do I combine business with outdoor nature, /biz/?
What business is there to be made in a forest and a farming area near a forest?
>>1342481
Mushroom foraging/hunting. Sell them.
tree farm, plant some valuable species of trees, wait around for 10 to 20 years and have a logger pay you thousands for it.
plus in the mean time you can eat all the animals that live in it
You can plant ginseng and make a bunch of money or plant good valuable hardwood trees and let a logging company pay you for them in 10 years. Try both.
Becoming a millionaire takes so fucking long
Is there any shortcut I can take?
Please TRY not to give meme responses, I want to know the fastest possible route and how other people have achieved it
>>1342477
Fastest route is to start an online business and find a way to make money. Then exploit it through every profitable channel you can find.
If it becomes successful, find media outlets to write stories about your service/product and use this to sell your business for a lot of money. Only look to sell when you run out of options to grow revenue, because you can command a higher valuation.
Done right, you can become rich in 1-5 years.

Is it possible to get there quickly through investing?
I know these are stupid fucking questions btw, feel free to call me an idiot or w/e
>>1342503
>Is it possible to get there quickly through investing?
What capital are you going to invest?
What does /biz/ think of the Wall Street Journal?
>>1342476
Pretty shit. I had it for 15 weeks or so. Old news desu. I use news aggregators now and only read for information. Commentary is useless.
>>1342476
bump
>>1342476
I personally read it everyday. Love the opinion section.
I have access to all the computers at my work after everyone leaves (second shift janitor). What are some ways I can make money with them? Install Bitcoin miner? Is that even still a viable way to make money? Anything similar I could do?
>>1342458
This is all theoretical. I'm not a bad guy so I don't do bad things.
Pajeet pls
Invest in kneepads
Depends on who you work for OP.
Is it a bank, IT? you could steal info and use it for investment. Or sell them to competitors (chinks) After doing that you'll be rich but in jail-
Is there any free stock-trading games that I can use to teach myself about trading before I waste money?
>>1342354

You read the title, fellow /biz/nizmen, what are some God-tier entry level jobs in terms of benefits, opportunities to move up, and enjoying the actual job itself?
Truck driving. If you're an introvert and love driving, it's a cozy job. Schooling shouldn't take longer than 6-8 weeks. My first trucking job guaranteed me $850/month.
Only downside is companies don't care about the safety of you or other drivers. They only care about profits. If you are falling asleep behind the wheel and want to take a break but that would mean being late for your delivery, too bad. Clean your truck out when you get back to the terminal.
Pay is great for the amount of work you do. I made $51K last year. Just shy of $1K a week.
If you fall for the clickbait articles and believe "self driving" trucks will replace you in 10 years, here's my input.
There's no such thing as self driving trucks currently being created. There are autonomous trucks, but not self driving. Autonomous trucks can't pump their own gas, do pre trip inspections, load and unload trailers, drive in bad weather, etc. GPS technology is still very inaccurate. It will not know where to go once it has arrived at it's destination. It will fuck up driving through cities or construction zones. It's just not there yet.
Believing that this new technology coming out will replace drivers is like believing auto-pilot would have replaced pilots. You can even look at other things like legal point of views. Even 100% autonomous aircraft requires a crew on board according to regulation. Look at the costs. Who's going to buy these new trucks? Even the mega companies that keep their company drivers in brand new trucks every 24-36 months are buying the cheapest models available. They don't even have invertors or APUs, let alone Freightliner's radar technology or any future tech we will be having available to us.
Even then, 90% of the trucking business is made up of owner operators or small businesses with 10 or less trucks. These guys certainly aren't buying the nicest newest trucks.

I was a stocker at Home Depot. $11 starting out+ small bonuses of around $100 every 6 months. Im thinking about moving into construction because I am a workaholic. 40+ hours guaranteed, $11/hr.
private tutoring
>pretty easy to acquire customers (just hang out flyers at schools etc)
>charge ridiculous rates (90min/35€)
>all you have to do is drive to childs and teach them shit about stuff you can learn even with 0 pre-knowledge on like a weekend on khanacademy
Alright /biz/ I'm planning on making my own business card in order to offer my plumbing and electricity services around the town.
But I need business cards with glue on their backs in order to place them on any surface.
Where can I buy sticky business cards?
I think this is exactly what google is for
bump for potential
Are you just going to put them up on places? Stickers usually get scraped off asap cause its unsightly. Plus with a sticker you cant take it off the surface and bring it home with you to use to call later. The purpose of a business card is for someone to have for a reference, you are defeating yourself.
p.s. If you need leads, I run a lead generation service and can get you customers if you are interested.
I need rich people staples. No budget shit for the following.
Bed Sheets
Mattresses
Pillows
Toilet Paper
Hand Soap
Ty
your a daft cunt m8
>>1341575
You can't fucking find expensive handsoap by using the Internet?
You may be rich, but you sure as hell aren't smart
>>1341575
Just do like other rich people do. Book an expensive hotel and steal them out of the room.
The official moonstock of /biz/ still alive
GXY Pros:
> Financials and presentations freely available on GXY's website and are very informative (READ IT AND LEARN)
> Mt. Cat mine running and being upgraded
> No other WA company has running mine - UPDATE: GXY is a potential buyout candidate based upon recent large interests
> $36M agreement to contract for initial production - UPDATE Confirmed recently as formalized
> Really good people running company now vs. prior assclowns
> GXY's most recent financials show massive improvements
> Has over $200M (AUS) unused tax credits from sale of Chinese disaster mine
> Paradice Investors recently purchased significant stock (and did business inspection)
> Future market for lithium is expected to grow significantly
> Cheap shipping via close port disclosed (Makes for more leverage in sale discussions)
>GXY dedicated website daylait.com (beta running)
GXY Cons:
> Agreement to contract is with Chinese who are in a commodity bust right now
> Still no news that $18M was received
> Pending lawsuit in HK with Chinese buyer of disaster mine ($2-3M)
> Sal De Vida and St. James Bay are years away from production
> Mt. Cat shipment date pushed back from Julyish to September
> Shitposters plaster threads with speculation and bullshit
GXY Non-Events/Neutrals:
> Acorn Capital sold many shares - funds to this all the time and recent Paradice investment negates
> Stock does have volatility due to speculators galore (but as Warren Buffett states: "Volatility doesn't mean risk")
How do I buy GXY
> IF AUSSIE: GXY
> IF BURGER: GALXF (Traded on OTC Market)
> IF EURO: GXYA:F
Can I Trade w/ Robinhood

>Kenny what are you doing not learning for your exams?
>No it's cool dude. I heard of this guy who bought physical bitcoins back in 2010 from the original company and he sold them for a total of 68 million dollars to a bank.
>What? No. Get back to college and quit the bullshit. Education is more important than anything.
Will Kenny get fucked over by the "muh education" joke, /biz/?
There's no reason not to finish high school and go to college in this case. Why would you need to drop out/not care to see a good investment opportunity

12k/year => ~3.5% indefinite return from a 60-40 stock-bond portfolio => save $350k
Now how are you going to get the $350k?
How old were you when you realized poor people deserve to be poor?
Poor people who don't try deserve to be poor. Plenty of poor people trying to better themselves who don't deserve to be poor. Don't lump them in with the retards who are content to be wageslaves for life.
>>1340222
Trying at something useless is worthless. You can be a poorfag working a bunch of hours at mcdonalds while going to community college trying your best to get a worthless degree like sociology.
Work smart not hard
