I don't know what else I can do to save you. Your choice.
Everyone here should own at least 1 btc ,like you say the potential for growth is staggering.
>>1354797
Yes, hold 1 for long term.
>>1354797
>>1354836
Indeed, but a lot of people still don't get it. They are unable to see the potential and look at it with some perspective. Worst cases are the ones still stuck in the denial phase. I guess not everyone can be saved, which is ironically why we'll be rich.

Hello /biz/ im the anon from a few days ago.
Several posters told me that having a savings account is useless, and that I need to have multiple accounts to save in. I plan on ditching my savings for an IRA.
I guess my question is, how many accounts are essential to have?
>Trad IRA
>Roth IRA
>Company 401k
>Emergency fund
>Optional credit account
Thats all you truly need right? Or am I missing anything here. Im sorry Im new at this. Thanks
Checking account
Emergency fund
Roth IRA
Company matching 401k
Brokerage account for meme stocks
Secret Bitcoin wallet
Roth ira's are for pussies, get a Roth 401k faggot. Ira's for pussies who want to live the meme of investing.
>>1363586
>Trad IRA
>Roth IRA
You need to chose between the two as you can only invest in one or the other each year. I recently changed over from contributing to a ROTH to a traditional IRA because my income jumped up from mid 40s to low 100k so the tax deduction associated with a traditional IRA made more sense.
>Company 401k
Yep, you need to contribute enough to get the maximum company match
>Emergency fund
I have several different accounts for this. One is a regular savings account with my bank that pays shit interest. I keep about $1,500 in it for emergency purposes. I keep this account because that $1,500 can be in my savings account in under 30 seconds, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
I also keep emergency fund money across a mix of ETFs, REITs, and individual stocks. I use Vanguard because they don't charge fees when you buy Vanguard products (which are also among the best ETFs, REITs, and mutual funds you can invest in because of their low fees), Robinhood because you can buy individual stocks/ETFs without fees, and another more traditional brokerage platform. Keep in mind that you can and will lose money on stocks, ETFs, REITs, and mutual funds and it can take 3-5 days to get money back into your checking account.
>Optional credit account
Sure. Why not? I just signed up for yet another one that gives 1.5% cash back, is interest free for 9 months, and will raise my credit score a bit.
I have choose what job I take tomorrow morning:
A) Shit youth counselor job, that pays $400-500 max, have to deal with 25 annoying, loud, troubled youth, grade 6 to 9, though it's a 4 minute walk from home, work 10-6 PM with 30 minute break. Literally had a really bad migraine when the program started for the youth.
OR
B) Sales specialist, going door to door selling air conditioning and furnaces. My friend from the army offered me the job, he makes at least 2k per week. One sale gets you to $1250 in commission. Told me that he would get me sales and we are suppose to be going away for 4 days in a different city, to sell door to door with others.
Literally can make twice as much in one week off one sale compared to job A.
What do I do biz?
>>1363557
Sounds like you prefer B so B.
You hate A. Why even ask us if you are already so biased towards B?
Not that B is bad at all, actually the skill set of selling door to door can be of good use. It sucks balls though I'll tell you that.
A sucks even more though.
>>1363557
> He makes at least 2k per week
You won't make a fucking dollar for 6 months in job B. Trust that. You better have good start up money or you'll never make it in sales.
i'd take A cuz yolo
I'm from India.
Does none of you realise that Chicken65 is a delicious dish from here?
It's considered Chinese cuisine here, but in reality its fully native. Most dishes in the indo-chinese cuisine are simply native.
Don't try it though. It's delicious, but too hot for western tummy made of silk.
is it hot hot spicy spicy?
>>1363480
Not extreme.
For me, it's just the right amount.
Could be much for you though.

Hello /biz/ I've come here to ask your opinions on an idea for a show that my friends and I have come up with and patented about 3 years ago.
The idea originally started what was to be a TV show but as the subscription to TV declines, webisodes and online content gains more momentum. The plot of the show is simple: think of MTV's Cribs but with colleges instead.
A typical episode would begin by talking a bit about the college and its location as well as a short "on-campus tour". The main goal behind the show would be to showcase a college or university's best assets whether it be its athletic teams, academic programs, architecture, campus life, etc. Basically all the things that set apart the college or university from all others.
We felt that it would have a good audience as clueless HS students and parents alike could view it and get somewhat of a preview of the university. We've already got 2 big university's on board and we're in talks with filming our first episodes there. Eventually we're thinking of expanding to places outside the US and maybe making a website along the road with a good college comparison system.
I just wanted to get your guys' feedback if you thought this idea was worth pursuing as a full-time thing. Any feedback is welcomed. Talk to me /biz/
You should also get morally loose college girls to flash their tits for a tank top!
>>1363404
That's actually a really fucking good idea, I wish they had this when I applied to schools
>>1363409
Funny thing is we had originally planned to include a "college social life" segment too but felt like it would diminish its professional appeal.
Thinking of marrying
Should I hide a portion of my assets from her?
How?
Also a general loss-from-divorce story thread.
>Be born poor but smart
>Go to a good college
>Socialize with legacy students
>Marry a girl from a rich family with more to lose than you from a divorce
It's like you're all noobs.
>>1363401
>socialize with legacy students
>socialize
haha good one
>>1363396
How exactly do you plan to hide this portion of your assets?
The only way to truly protect it is to either keep it in cash or keep it out of your name.
Keep in mind that a good divorce attorney can dig up a lot of your past transactions.
Anything that is in your name is at risk
Good Afternoon,
I need to write a very brief letter to a mortgage loan lender for a house I am about to purchase.
They have inquired into what Robin Hood is.
My question is how should I eloquently word this brief explanation of what it is exactly.
Dream house will be mine ploxx
I was thinking
To Whom It May Concern:
Robin Hood is a brokerage firm platform I use primarily for investing.
yay or nay
how about.
To Whom It May Concern:
Robin Hood is a brokerage firm I have an account with primarily for investing.
halp plox
What does Biz think about my cashing out some bitcoins to buy a wedding ring and get married ?
I've had these coins for years and they just sit around not doing anything, anyways.
At current exchange rates I've got about 5,700 in bitcoins.
I have a stable FT job, I have regular investments (just did some mining for the lulz back in the day)
I could leave out 1 bitcoin as some insurance in case it sky rockets upwards, but I can't avoid not buying a ring forever.
>in b4 marriage
>>1363159
It's you life.
You need to be sure that she's worth more than possible riches thorugh bitcoin.
>>1363159
That's very irresponsible. If you truly love your wife you'll hold and wait for the day that you can buy her something that's really worth while.
Terribl idea. You should never let a woman know you own Bitcoin.
That's your lawyer fund when she leaves your ass.
I got fired today. I really don't want to get another job. Can I make enough money on my own with the internet? How do I get into resale? Ideas? Help me biz
Get a job
Get a job
Rather than being a sucker and getting a job, you should find someone that requires work done and do it for them in exchange for money.
"Subletting" a room. What sort of legal documentation should I try to obtain? The person I rented from seemed fine just giving me keys-- said they could just leave them in the mailbox (I've only paid half of the first month). Is that a red flag? It's a shithole apartment share but should I be worried if they hand me keys before asking me to sign anything? Meeting them again later this week
Id get a written lease that says you are month to month.
>>1362425
is ti an apartment complex ?
are they the owners ?
maybe its your first time on your own...
mail box has key? if so its apartment
if its not its a home
then they would be owners and most likely asked you for an id and did background check
a copy of the lease or rental agreement should be given to you unless the situation for the agreement is settled just between both of you in case it shouldnt matter as long as you get a receipt of the payment made from them ...
pics bro
how much
>>1362425
I did this over Craigslist. Girl I leased from was clueless or way too trusting. I wrote up a quick few sentence statement that I have paid $x to rent (address) for the period of (dates) and we both signed it.
/biz/ humor thread
There seems to be a ton of butthurt flowing recently. Let's laugh at our worst fuckups and successes.
Does memeposting count as humour?

Yes. /biz/ shitposting welcome.
Yeah it may seem a bit crazy but hold the line brothers and watch the rebound.

There's nothing to rebound off of when you have no intrinsic value
