- Anyone here have a successful and durable experience in forex trading ?
- What's techniques did you use ?
- With how much money did you begin ?
- Gives me advice for a beginner like me, please.
I am really sad when i read specialized forums in forex, why?
Because all the trading journal I read ends the same way :
They end up losing all their gains and have their account to 0 dollars, after 6 months or 1 year.
I need testimonials from people who really live forex successfully since several years.
http://forums.babypips.com/newbie-island/70214-truth-about-forex-you-cant-become-rich.html
I think this method is the best to learn forex or index cfd:
Depositing tiny amount less than € 200 and try to make it grow until 1000, once in 1000 reached 900 withdraw.
With the remaining € 100, try to grow them again to € 1,000, remove 900 ... etc.
Do it 10 times successfully
Instead of dropping € 50,000, losing after six months, redeposit € 20,000 and lose again after one week.

I live in a kind of shitty Country where there are a lot more cows than people.
I made like 20K with shitty wages while saving and one of the options I have is to invest them in breeding cows.
There are like 3 different options with different risk but overall they all give like a 9% yearly.
Should I do this or just go for penny stocks?
I say you milk it
>>1386431
there are alot of risks in breeding. it isnt a guaranteed return on investment. unless your buying shares in a company that does it on a mass scale or something
>>1386454
There's a company here that does it in scale and guarantees a 7% no matter what.
Sometimes if they make more than that and they keep it. That's one of the options they have.
It has been working for more than 10 years and the only issue here it would be if there is a mad cow disease breakout for example or the country is fucked for some reason or maybe all the cows die for some other reason and the company goes broke.

Maybe you guys can help me with this.
So lately a lot of people have been giving me the advice that using online job boards and filling out applications is a waste of time in the current market. The only way to supposedly get a professional job now, is to be able to talk to someone in a hiring position directly, either through your personal contacts, or by finding them on linkedin, facebook, google, etc.
This makes sense to me, as putting a job on an online job board means a company is going to get flooded with useless job applications to sift through. Far better to hire through a personal connection as it also means someone has pre-vetted this person by speaking to them outside of the application process.
However, there's a lot about this whole system that just seems stupid to me.
It makes perfect sense if you have a laundry list of companies that you want to work at, and know exactly what sort of job titles you would be fulfilling. And trying to apply for jobs this way has taught me about what sort of job titles companies use for the sort of jobs I'm looking for.
But at the same time all of that is completely arbitrary right? Companies don't necessarily list the jobs relevant to what you want under certain titles.
What if you don't know what kind of job titles you need to be looking for?
What if there's a company you want to work for but but you don't have personal contacts and can't find the decision maker?
What if you know what kind of job you're looking for, but don't know about the companies that would have that type of position?
Also, how would you find out about jobs that you are capable of doing, but aren't related to your degree or experience?
>>1386255
Also, most of the time, I don't think people have any idea what their prospective job title should be, or what companies they're looking for. 90% of the time, people just know that they want more money, and the city that they want to live in, which is exactly why job boards should make sense for job searching. Because that way you can look based by city rather than company or job title.
I mean, I was looking at one company I thought was a pretty good bet for me, and they had the job I was looking for, but it was in La Crosse, WI.
Fuck that.
I'm in the same boat.
>>1386639
Thanks.
I'm bumping this thread because someone has to know more about this kind of stuff on here.
Or we can at least talk about the system of job searching in general.
Who /arbitrage/ here? Been exchanging American coins to canadian coins like pic and using them in USA.
>>1386213
Does that work?
Every now and then I get a Canadian coin in change but I've never tried to use one.
>>1386220
That's not what OP means.
>>1386220
Thats what happened to me. Got a Canadian quarter back as change and was a little infuriated. Where is the secret service stopping such acts if treason and theft. Than i was like thanks Obama. But it got me to thinking $1 usd = . 65 Canuck buck. So i went to walmart bought a flatsceen in Canuck quarters. Cashier was like are these the new quarters. And i was like yes. Risk arbitrage.
I am a student with a few tens thousand £ in capital what I have earned from something I don't want to talk about. Today my parents asked if I wanted to chip in with them and buy a holiday villa (with the view to rent it out).
If I was to put up £30k cash to help them buy, am I doing a worth while thing. They haven't looked looked in to it properly yet but this is about as much as I could afford to offer them. Any advice is good.

we live in a giant property bubble caused by 0% interest rates. It's gone on so long people think it is the new normal.
Stay away from real estate until we have proper interest rates, historical average is about 5% in most western countries.

You can't even watch the evening news anymore without someone mentioning the newest Pokemon game for iOS & Android: Pokemon Go. Now, it is quite clear that there is obvious potential to profit quite heavily from this temporary fad. Now, I have T-Shirt Ideas in mind, but what would be the correct, most effective way to market my designs & ideas? time is limited, since I'm pretty sure the fad will wear off by September or the end of the year.

Facebook paid ads and Instagram ads.

I know. The market is already cluttered, and the game officially launched only a few weeks ago. Since there aren't many ways to make this brand of merchandise unique, I guess advertising will have to be key.
Can anyone give me a honest idea of how important math knowledge is in the stock market and investments ?
What type of math should you learn is any?
Also is coding that big of a deal?
Depends on your approach to trading, will you be making analytical models or will you be mainly researching news, hopefuly both.
unimportant IMO
>>1386122
You could come at it from the math side of things. But as markets are zero sum, you are against autistic level math heads, who have access to massive amounts of hashing power, who work for big banks, who front run the market with HFT algos. You can't win.
Far easier to come at from the macro human psychology angle. Markets go in cycles, the retail investor is dumb, think contrarian.
Tip: avoid real estate and bonds. Go for gold and silver

Where do you guys find future news? Not as in futures but I mean like where can I look for things that will be happening next week?
Like big investors speaking, any news with big banks to expect, a political event that may impact the economy, social events that may impact, maybe a merger or acquisition or possibly a press release that I should be on the look out for.
