is 2 monitors a meme?
>>1387912
I'd say in most case no. It's nice to have them even if you're doing nothing more than watching videos on one and playing games/reading something on the other.
Of course if you're daytrading or something then a second monitor becomes much more useful.
>>1387912
i have 2 monitors at work, but would love 3

Hey /biz/ I'm starting a media company with emphasis on Aerial Videography and Photography. My business plan is pretty solid but iv hit a wall in the area of Market Analysis... This area is so new that I am finding it hard to gauge the market. I know there is demand, but how would i set pricing and gross margin targets with almost no information to go off of... help me out guys! I would prefer not to fuck this up!
>>1387886
Pricing is determined by competition, primarily in photography. This is especially true if you have no reputation to charge a premium for.
I would spread contact through various channels and give free quotes to realtors. If you start getting laughed out of the sale that's a sign you want to lower prices.
I would start high and negotiate yourself down into a customer base. You can start raising prices when you are fully booked with time.
>>1387893
Thanks for the input. I had planned on pricing my service low for now until I can generate a reputation. That would give me a slight advantage over my competitors as well. Would you recommend setting price packages and then negotiate? Or would I be better off pricing my service per client? I have been going back and fourth on this for a while.
You have to have a pilots license to have a drone photography business.
That's why you don't see a million of them around. Should have done your homework first
Lol.
When does it not become worth it? like if your making 10 mil a year does it even matter if you invest that shit. hypothetical
>>1387852
Money's worth nothing to one and worth everything to the other. If it's your catch, it'll be worth it. However people like me are fine with a above average income.
>>1387852
Try /r9k/.
>>1387852
If you make 10 mil a year you will probably be at a point where you're paying someone else to invest your money for you. There is no point where you just let your money sit and accumulate in a bank account.
Also nice Maisie.
Does anyone use p2p lending? I just opened an account with 1k and want to know other's experience. I have many safe vehicles for investments and wanted to try something more risky
I'm using LendingClub btw
>>1387816
What's risky about it? Are you simply fucked if people don't pay you back or do they have insurance? What kind of interest rates can you get?
>>1387877
You're fucked if they default as is their credit. They show basic verified info such as credit score, monthly income, lines of credit open, and amount of debt. You can choose loans you want to invest in and buy notes in $25 increments which lowers the risk spread amongst many people
Why don't more women use alt right things to make money? Like that cam whore that dressed up in nazi clothing and made more money then when she showed her pussy. I can imagine any girl putting on a trump hat or say something racist getting rich quickly. Why don't they?
>>1387710
They love their bull too much to do that.
>>1387710
Same reason you're asking this question on an anonymous forum.

And how can we profit from it?
greece and italy got cucked by germany and brussels. it's too late now. feel bad for all the ordinary people who had no say in the matter.
>>1387675
Short it
So, I have a question for you /biz/
My dad pays the minimum of each large bill he has, or $5 a month on them. Ex: large hospital bills.. He gets away with this because we are poor as shit, and they pretty much just accept it as long as they see a payment every month from him, sometimes they even get so pissed that the payment is so low, that they tell him to forget about it.
Anyway, I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure he is up to his neck in debt, and I was wondering when he dies, do I get that debt?
>>1387666
no, debt is illegal to inherit
in civilized countries that is
that being said, funerals are $10,000+, so may want to make sure he buys a house or nice sportscar before he dies, so you actually get an inheritance to help pay funeral costs
if hes in millions of dollars in debt but owns a house or something like that, you get the house (assuming you are the heir of course), but you dont get debt, his debt collectors get SOL
and some states here in america you pay taxes on inheriteded dosh, so be mindful of that
>>1387686
Very good info thank you
>>1387686
>funerals are $10,000+
>dogs need to be fed
Pick two and come to a conclusion
Which publicly-traded companies are going to profit the most from the legalization of recreational marijuana in California this November?
The big tobacco companies are the ones who will make it in the long run. They already have the infrastructure.

Anyone have any advice on home buying?
How do I figure out where I should live?
Anyone know where I should go to look up stuff? Demographics, crime, tax rates, school ratings, all of that stuff? Is there any place that does projections of property values and all that other stuff into the future?
I work in West Chester Ohio and make about $40k/year. I'm currently living with my parents and don't really like the idea of renting because it seems like burning money. Maybe renting makes a lot of sense in places like NYC but I'm not sure it does in South West Ohio.
Anybody have any useful thoughts, non-sequiturs, or insults?
>Yes
>You should live where you want to (I suggest living as close to work as possible)
>Do you own research. Unless you're in an urban setting, the collected data won't be great.
Secure financing before talking to a realtor. Don't let the realtor know your actual top-end number. Always make offers contingent on passing a home inspection from someone reputable. Always cut 10-15% off the asking price for your initial offer. If a home has been on the market for a long time you can seriously lowball them. Realtors will tell you these offers are insulting but they're shabbos goyim so tell them to fuck off.

Why do you think these movies cost millions of dollars to make?
Why would they get in trouble for making props?

Why has no one bought this real estate yet? A mansion at central park. There are enough billionaires, and you cannot lose money on this investment. Why is it on Zillow for 40 days? What am I missing here? $120,000,000 for a central park mansion.
http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/834-5th-Ave-New-York-NY-10065/31533429_zpid/
people on here cannot afford a $120 million mansion, including me
>>1387341
But you must know why it is not being sold? This is /biz after all?
>>1387336
That's a fuck load of cash for even a central park apartment, especially one that is so old school opulent and would certainly have to be remodeled for anyone who would actually want it or to flip it.
