Hi /biz/, I've been noticing a trend.
every other thread is something like this:
> I have a bit of money and I want to make some more. Also I'm lazy as fuck and totally not creative. Who do I give it to in order for me to get free money?
YOU ARE MISSING THE POINT YOU FUCKING NU-MALE
THE ESSENCE OF /BUSINESS/ IS TO INVEST IN YOUR OWN BUSINESS AND ACTUALLY DOING WORK WITH VALUE
DON'T PUT IT INTO SOME JEWISH FINANCE SHIT LIKE "ROBIN HOOD" OR THE LATEST NIGCOIN OR SOME MAGICAL "STOCK" WHATEVER THE FUCK THAT ACTUALLY MEANS. ALL YOU ARE DOING IS MOVING IMAGINARY NUMBERS AROUND.

How do I get a job that pays at least 100k a year?
>>1429080
Go to school
Get a degree in a valuable field and then some experience
If zillow estimates your home to be worth $400,000 but everything in the house is outdated and the house needs a lot of work how much could be deducted from zillows estimate?

Question, what do smart families do and what do dumb (inferior) families do?
A. Let your kids live at home as long as they want: COST = 0 $.
B. Pay 1500 $ per month, per kid, for their apartments. For 3 kids, COST = 54,000.00 $ per year.
So? Does a smart family save 54k a year or waste it for no reason?
>>1429037
C. Kick the brats out of the house because they're adults now and can afford their own place to live.
Best option because it's a win/win.
>>1429037
That's what all the chinas in my town do. They have nice cars but live 15 to a shitty little house
>>1429037
The extra time and cost that commuting to work takes already makes moving out better. You can move right next to your job and walk to work in 5 minutes instead of driving from a McMansion in the suburb in 45 minutes. That's over 80 hours per day,. If you make over minimum wage the time saved alone would outweigh the costs for rent, without even including the costs related to driving.
Of course, this also assumes that by some sheer coincidence that the best job in the entire country available to you just happens to be within driving distance of your parent's home, which is a real long shot.

So I fucked up, ~30k in credit card debt
Pretty much my entire financial situation is going up in flames, and I may be losing my income for a while.
I need to be working, making plays & planning, but right now I'm paralyzed by anxiety & regret.
I need some movies/books/stories to cheer me up, because I feel like it's fucking orge man... I'm starting back from square one only this time with massive debt under my head.
>>1428939
wut did u buy???
bad investments or liabilities and pleasure shite?
>>1428945
It's a complete sadfag story but essentially I cleared $90k in 2014, and I decided to put my parents / sister on my credit cards and told them they can have a better quality of life with them, think I could provide easier.
I started making less money in 2015, and 2016 has been a complete nightmare. I now have to tell them how much I fucked up but previously I didn't want to see like a failure and kept acting like 'it's all good', believing my situation would bounce back.

Looking to learn how to invest and the strategies that current investors use. What are some resources that you guys used before that can provide information about and introduce me into the world of investing?
>>1428928
were you looking to do passive or active investing?
>>1428930
active, but not necessarily day trading
>>1428936
if not day trading then what, just buying some stocks to hold long term? If that's the case your best bet is to look into blue chip stocks, large corporations that are proven earners and barring something extreme will continue to be so. Companies like coca-cola, disney, general electric, etc.

how do I go about getting a rich trust fund-babby gf?
I'm 6'3, handsome, I know i could get one if I set my mind to it. I need to break into the social circle first. From there I think it would be easy.
Then take as much money as possible from her and get rid of her.
>>1428808
Become employed by the bohemian grove or some other rich people get together. Talk to the men, and subtly see if they have any grandkids who would consider dating you.
>>1428808
>I'm 6'3
You almost made it. So close, and yet so far.
Hey /biz/. I know you all get this question bretty often, but how DO you make money online..??
I've tried autistic surveys, swagbucks, reviewing, and tried to bot them but they are all pretty well protected.

The great day when people went insane over the gains made thanks to ETC.
Get ready if you want to live that moment yourself. This week we are going to break the last ATH.

>>1428510
10 ETC? that's dogshit desu.
I went in with almost 1 BTC at 0.0046. Im going to hold until at least 0.006 and we'll see from there. Last time I panicked and I sold at the fucking 0.0036 dip. I was about to fucking sell at the 0.0063 top but I was too fucking greedy to click sell. Next time the pump will be higher but I've learned my lesson.
I am now more confident that ever than ETC is here to stay. Based Charles is on our side.

Hey /biz/ my dad inherited my grandmas condo.
>Worth around $260,000 CDN.
>flipping to it make it go for $290,000+
>Gonna start flipping houses starting off part time on the weekends and holidays and small with condos then eventually move on to townhouses and houses.
>Gonna try and aim for $20,000 profit min off of each condo.
>My dad knows basic trades so we can save on labour
Any advice /biz/?
He might know basic trades, but make sure any jobs are up to code or you'll find yourself spending more to make it right
>>1428476
have fun....
if u really want advice.small real estate is a cruel and wild bitch of a business to be in.
>>1428476
i would sell the thing and use the money for more lucrative , promising ventures.
you probably wont make nearly as much money as you want when its all said and done. and you will have spent a lot of time doing a lot of work that any group of wild Mexican could have done.
but if your passionate , go for it.
Hey /biz/, did you ever get a job that you're unqualified for? As in, your skills are woefully inadequate. If so, did you manage to wing your way through it? Did you eventually learn enough to get by? Did you get fired? Share your stories.
>>1428434
once i got a blow job.
i had no previous experience.
i even managed to rise to a position where i was about to fire a few off.
>>1428434
My buddy got a job as a professional chef. Prior to that he had just worked in a little sandwich shop.
Any time the head chef asked him to do something he didn't know how to do, he would just excuse himself to go to the bathroom. Then he would pull out his phone and YouTube how to do the thing he was being asked to do.
True story.
>>1428461
Did he end up becoming a really good chef after a while?
I have ~$30k, would I have enough to put a down payment on a $200,000 rental property? Or do you need 20%?
College town, house is near campus. I could probably get $2200/month because it is a 5 bedroom. Average rent is ~$500. I'm assuming after property taxes, repairs, etc, it will pay for itself after 10 years.
Father would help me with renovations, right off the bat I would probably replace water heater and toilets, and get HVAC inspected.
I make $35k/year as a wage slave at the moment.
>>1428412
buy farm land.
>>1428443
Where I'm at that might get me 3 acres. I don't think that could get me anywhere close to $20,000/year.
>>1428446
lol you almost definately dont have enough credit to get approved for that mortgage without a co signer
