Real talk,
Whats the point of all the effort and money poured into investing in the stock market when there are affiliate fags who are making 1k per day with their shitty fb pages and little to no effort.
>>1481110
if it took no effort to make 1k per day wouldn't everyone do it?
stupid frog poster
And there are people who make more than that per day too.
Point is grinding and escape the 9-5 by any means available
>>1481110
getting shilling skills requires lots of time and effort: finding a niche, initial set-up time with basically no income for motivation, automating tasks with scripts, dealing with commission cancellations and reworking lots of pages if traffic isnt up to standards, etc.
What's a good job for me?
>Low responsibility
>Little social interaction
>Quiet environment
>Safe workspace (In the sense of not working with dangerous substances / polluting factory)
pic unrelated

invest in some kneepads

xDDDDDDDDDDDDD so original
I was thinking of working part time in a warehouse
Give me a good reason why are you not buying Shadowcash (SDC) on leverage now via Poloniex?
Let us see - the coin has everything Monero has and more + it has better marketing, better design and an actual, usable GUI!
Do you really want to be poor that much?
Screencap it here and buy SDC or remain a poor loser forever. You heard it here first!
>>1481100
>give me one good reason you're not buying shitcoin #337 being shilled on /biz/
>>1481101
Yeah, just as you missed out on Bitcoin which was shilled heavily. Just as much as you missed out on Ethereum which was shilled also, and just as you missed out on Monero, which also was shilled.
Looks like you just don't want to listen and remain poor forever. It is one of those coins where 100$ investment can pay off heavily and even if it drops, you won't lose much. Maybe a cup of tea lol
>>1481100
idk i shilled yesterday to buy at .001 now its .0023 i sold and bought nav then when xmr and sdc correct or sideways i buy back in with more
If I want to just live my life and do what I want, why not work a $60,000 job a year on the road doing manual/semi-manual labor, saving as much as I can, and then retiring when I hit around 800,000 in my stock portfolio? If I only need to live off of 30k a year, why would that be problematic?
>>1481081
I dunno, why would it?
>>1481083
The pic is clearly unrelated.
>>1481093
But you did not answer my question.
Just wondering how non-traditional students/graduates are seen in the finance world. I'm considering an opportunity to enter Special Forces for a short stint before entering college; I think I might enjoy it and desu it pays pretty well.
However, this would mean that I only enroll into college at 23. How will I be perceived when I get out there? I'm more of a business guy, and hope to get into the Big 4 consulting firms while starting my own ventures along the side. Will my time with Special Forces prove to be a detriment to my long-term goals?
>>1481069
nah u should be good senpai
>>1481069
>I'm considering an opportunity to join SF.
Worry about preparing for that first, then worry about finance and other stuff.
How can I use this to make a quick buck?
they hand these out
you can't

Am I dumb for trying to day-trade on a betting market?
>had 380 euros on Trump at 4.6
>yesterday
>see his odds rapidly worsen from 3.8
>cash out at 4.33 thinking it would get worse and I'd get back in higher
>it's back to 3.85
so here's my dilemna /biz/
>get back in now and take a loss over what I could have had
or
>wait until maybe it gets back over 4 over the next two months
I'm afraid the >4 ship has sailed, but clearly I don't have very good judgment
wat do?
Stop speculating and invest in long term, utility based stocks. Read Security Analysis.
>>1481004
>muh stocks
what kind of a stock is going to get me a 360% ROI in 2 months??
This isn't an investment thread, it's a betting thread
>>1481003
>day trading on election bets
OP you're my hero lol fuck that's hilarious kek
So I just began to work for a fairly big tech company (200ish employees).
They seem to have high turnover rate but they are growing fast and entering new markets. I have no clue why. Maybe the clients are pissing people off, I don't know.
HR is pushing me hard to enter their sports team (I hate that idea, doing hard manual labor as an unpaid overtime to promote the company and nobody else is coming except people that play), pushing me to start drinking coffee or tea (psychopathic desu), is tolerating and even promoting fucking around first half an hour on the job (drinking coffee, I would rather sleep half an hour more as I need to wake up in 06:30 to go to work normally).
I am an extrovert and friendly guy but being forced into bars, sports teams, taking an addiction and team building far away from the place of work is kinda pissing me off. I am not shy or a mute, I do actually talk to people on my fucking own.
Is this annoying practice a ploy to socially tie me to fellow employees so I might stay longer in the firm.?
Is this the same in your company as well?
>>1480941
I used to love taking like 20 minutes to make a cup of tea.
Had about 6 of those fuckers a day. That's 2 hours bro.
Sports team stuff is BS though, doubt they will fire you for saying no tho.
>>1480943
That would secure I get released though. I am still in trial and training period.
>>1480999
Seems like a soul sucking of a job, its hidden, your trips show it, they just want you to become a good "I love this business!" puppet
I'd say I had some back issues or I hurt my foot in the past
we all know the "work too hard" and "too much attention to detail" memes, but they are much too obvious
what's worked for you?
>>1480935
I answered Inorganic Chemistry for an organic chemistry job. Got the job.
>>1480935
It takes me a little bit longer to "catch-on" then most people.
I work to hard
How do you feel that he makes endlessly more money than you, fucks 10's every day while smoking his own strain of weed - all while "working" by making shitty copy-paste stoner music?
Face it /biz/, you will NEVER live like him
>>1480885
A. I never wanted a rap lifestyle.
B. Your average investment banker is probably worth more than this guy.
>>1480885
At least I'm not a nigger.
Damn, someone get this kids a sandwich.
How's this look as a 25-year old autistic, ex-neet's resume?
>>1480876
Not terrible actually, you have a lot of info but the employer might not take all the time to examine to the bottom. Move technical skills up and prioritize it depending on the job you're applying for.
>>1480876
how does the whole apply for jobs thing go for people. I work as a project manager in HVAC and its all done by reputation and word of mouth
>>1480878
Trades/more physical jobs can be much more different when it comes to hiring, most of the time for white-collar jobs it is done based off of networking and less reputation. Namely person Y has a friend working at company A so person Y asks their friend to see if there are job openings/if one can be made, and people get hired.
For more "simple" jobs like McShits you basically show up physically to a place hiring and if you aren't a sperg they might hire you.
This past week has been insane for Poloniex. Due to the announcement of several coins getting removed, exactly those coins got pumped by the whales and were set to moon brightly for a few hours each.
How much cash have you guys made off? If you bought all the coins which mooned this week then you could have made well beyond 2000% gains.
made a few dollars here and there.. i wouldnt go balls deep on those low volume pumps.. since selling a few bitcoins worth can get tricky when the buy orders start dissapearing
I'd rather stick to high volume monero and throw spare change at the low volume pumps
For someone like me with under 2 bitcoins, those pumps were a godsend. They're good for newbies like me which barely started and need a launching pad.
>>1481002
>under 2 bitcoins
thats good anon.. thats perfect for low volume. As long as youre walking away with profits from every pump.. i can say youre doing quite well. I hope the best for you
This is just for an internship as a program manager.
God damn. Where do I even start? What do I do? How does biz deal with "we need sub twenty-five year olds with ten years administrative experience."?
>>1480847
Since they're asking for a bachelor's and 4+ years of experience I'm guessing this is for an MBA internship or the equivalent, in which case that's fair. Why would you go to grad school without a couple years of experience?
>>1480847
Apply anyway. Worse they can say is "No chance in hell" best they can say is "We may consider training you, but you would have to go through X internship."
>>1480953
Is there any downside to applying, being denied, then applying again one+ year later?
Didn't see one in the catalogue
Is leasing business equity a thing?
How can a potential investor get a good deal when funding a startup and not completely rape you when things get going?
I pitched my business idea and an investor wants 40% equity in the business. I can't give anyone 40% of my blood sweat and tears forever, i still want to do my business. But it's business.
>>1480827
>I'm the ideas guy
>>1480830
Nope. I will be doing everything. Just don't have capital. Business plan is laid out and it all looks good on paper with projections and everything. I'm not saying that it will have equivical practical function but it looks as good as it can on paper and I would be central to this business in every way, Until i can find someone to replace me at least.
>>1480827
Look man, nobody is just going to give you a bag of money if they can't profit in the case your business goes to the moon.
Anyone here go to school for ITSA? (Server admin) I'm starting my course in a week and a half and I'm pretty excited. I have a few connections in the IT world already so with that I'm hoping I won't struggle finding an entry level job when I'm done it. If you have a background in server administration, do you have any tips? Any recommendations? What should I expect going into the IT scene? How are you liking it? Do you recommend it? Thanks
>>1480784
I didn't read one thing you wrote. Just looking at the picture.
